    Just lop the plug off and put some spade connectors on Instead. Or use a small piece of the cable you've got with connectors on and join that to the original cable. Can use crimp connectors or sokder. Use heatshrink or insulating tape to cover any soldered joints. Can't remember the polarity off top of my head though. A google search will reveal all I'm sure.

    @vtec2011 the boot is same colour as the alloys. I did that before i sold it. Simply because the boot had rust which ive done a good job repairing. But I thought it would be easier to match the wheels and not the blue. I really like It. Guess not everyone does

    Done a bit of sprucing and rust proofing today. Been awkward cus raining most of the day. Also just took wheel to get tyre swapped over. Just a reminder of how looked when in sold it.. This is what I was greeted with today. Goes without saying I have improved the situation rather a lot. I have cleaned and stonechipped rear end today. Waxoyl tomorrow when dried.

    So as some know I bought my eg back. Has been slightly neglected. So starting to resolve the issues today. Easy bits first.. Needs a new toyo tyre as the plonker has just wacked a cheap and nasty on the back. Oh no where will I find a toyo??? Check the shed...

    Spoke to gearbox John. Funny guy. Not sure what to do yet. Expensive job. Might order bearings and then use the 4th gear out of my spare gearbox in the shed. And do the job myself just for experience.

    @Grant usual currency is Gregg's sausage rolls but reach around or test drive whatever floats ya boat mate. Honest owe ya one.. Bet ya didn't think I'd buy it back when ya text me that day. Haha

    @Krzys it's referring to the lug on the throttle that turns the k series tps. Quick nip down with grinder. Has also answered something for me.. Looking at those pics. I must have used a k series throttle body on my eg. Hence why tps didn't fit and had to modify it.

    Yeah man I'll get it sorted. Will order couple bits tomorrow. A battery.. Oil.. Filter.. Sparks.. 4 hubcentric spacers.. Exhaust gaskets and spring bolts. Didn't get a chance to talk to gearbox John. Hopefully tomoz. I forgot how punchy the engine was. Fooking awesome!

    Those window trims are around £25 each on rimmerbros. There called window finishers. Love your mb1 BTW. Sr is one of my favourites. And yours is stunning
