    I found the nightbreakers to be okay and much better than any other ones (halfords etc) that I'd tried, but as said above, the ring bulbs are mint and a massive improvement

    it's awsome stuff, just rub some on, let it haze, and it polishes off so easily - just wipes off really. wish I'd put it on when i first got the wheels. should help keep them clean too... it's properly slippy

    got the winter wheels back on, so have cleaned and waxed the dares before they go away for the winter: shiny love the rim wax can't beat a nice smooth shiney rim

    dunno if you've checked already but uneven tyre pressures / different wear on tyres could cause pulling - another member suggested it to me when i had a simillar issue and it turned out to be tyres. )

    i could do with a new screen anyway, so could well be interested if people are going for it. hate waiting for the windscreen to demist on cold mornings.

    i've just had a 4.785 fd put in my s9b (in the summer), but put a longer 5th gear in to compensate the 5th is from a US integra ls and is the longest b series 5th gear, and even with the new fd is longer than the standard 5th which is even better on motorways... my fuel economy's actually a bit better than before because the gears seem more usable. some good info on ratios here: http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/temp/Bgears.htm if you do go for the conversion option, you'll also need the first gear from the type r to fit on the countershaft - take a look at my project to see: http://www.civic5.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=3199&start=480#p129869 cheers

    So these are my 2nd set of calipers on the rear (about 2 - 3 years old) and they just seem to have a tendency to go sticky - especially if the car's not used for a week or so. Admittedly they've not been stripped and cleaned, but as I say the calipers are pretty new in the grand scheme of things and it's not a problem I've had on any other car apart from my first one (pug 205). always use green stuff, and don't have a problem with the stopping power just don't like rears because they seem prone to seizing.

    5-10 for me, except it's on the way home... lucky if I get more than 2 on a morning coz of traffic (and one of them's necessary to get onto a fast roundabout and has a good dose of IAB as well

    i think that it's amplified a bit with the lighter flywheel - used to get it down a gear or two, and if i needed to slow down, would let the engine braking do most of the work, but it doesn't have as much effect now, I've found myself braking more than I used to before a bend to be able to keep the power there on the bends. hadn't thought about the lsd being only engaged on the power... think it must mask some of the problems with the handling of the chassis. more bracing required I reckon:) never noticed it before the gearbox work though still brill though... suprised someone in a wee sporty renault tonight on the way home.

    So it sounds like for our cars we should go no further than 1.5way! fully customisable as per gran turismo

    yup - they're embarrassingly bad. If my car doesn't move for more than a few days, and the handbrake's been on (for all the good it does) it is always a bit siezed.

    you'll have to keep us posted on this one Dave - are you planning to do this all round or just fronts? I'd love to lose the pants rears and their sticking tendancies / pants handbrake..
