  1. could it be the fuel cut off button in the driver footwell? on the left hand side of the centre console there's a little rubber button (quite hard to find) - i think it's a safety feature to cut the fuel if there's an accident? i'd need to double check (or maybe someone can confirm) but I think you just need to press it in to rest.
  2. tasty looking motor mucker
  3. cheers bud - think i'd miss mine too, but your eg's gonna be sweet in fact i still miss my old eg
  4. rocker cover sets the engine bay off a treat
  5. funny, i was looking at underboarding today (bored at work.....) that and aero splitters.
  6. had to take my grandad for an appointment this afternoon or I would have stopped in all day... this is now, after an hour or so... no sign of stopping snowing either. there's a properly steep and long bank out of my estate, and even the winter tyres weren't enough to get up (i was having to be a snowplough as well.... wish i'd got around to swapping back to original springs ), but the snow socks did the trick - they're ace not got one of the garages - had my name down for one for ages
  7. car was clear yesterday... woke up to this today: spent a couple hours shovelling snow today
  8. so sad such a shame for this to happen to such a lovely person. Rest in peace hin.

  11. sticker looks ace it's all about little circles with the autosol... just concentrate on a small area, and polish until you realise that you're polishing with the tip of your finger coz you've worn a hole in your rag
  12. going out to pick up a curry in 15 mins, but won't be able to chuck it about to see how it is... well, not that much anyway
  13. how rude of all this snow and ice stopping me seeing what my new brace is like. and i'm not snowboarding either
  14. i've always fancied having the iabs come in a bit earlier, say around 4.5 / 5... should give economy still, but not have to wait as long for the fun
  15. little update - this came in yesterday: had my eye on this for a while, and thought I'd go for it while the boot's stripped to find out where the water's coming from and make it easier to keep dry. also have stiffened up the rear shocks a bit after the missus had a ride in the back seats (ooer... ) and said that it was quite bouncy and felt long (fnarrr fnarr). tracks bumps much better now.
