    Might be a bit of a long shot, but this seller has lots of sill repair parts for different civics (no mb ones listed), and also sells rear wheel arch repair panels for ma/mb civics. Might be worth giving them a message to see if they can help? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273993503384

    I used to use (clean) nappies in my boot... Those suckers are absorbant! But I used to have a mini pool in my wheel well.

    Deffo a sign of the times. Think that anyone with sills in good nick should be filling them with waxoil or something and protecting the outside.

    The first garage that I had working on mine were (apparently) able to get some replacement chassis rails (just didn't weld them to good metal.....) but whether they were car specific or not I wouldn't know. Although from the pics yours seem okay? Just the outer sill is gone?

    That sucks Is it just the front that's wet? Do I remember that the sunroof drain runs that way, or is it the passenger side?

    Last time I checked on rimmerbros.com they didn't have the sills advertised, but might be worth giving them a call to double check.

    Cheers Dave. In a way it all feels like fate - if it hadn't been for the first place doing such a shocking job, and a rubbish bodge, I wouldn't have found out how bad mine was, wouldn't have found this garage, and wouldn't have ended up finding out about @Grant amazing shell. Wouldn't have ended up spending as much either like, but at least now she's good for another 20 years (fingers crossed).

    Waiting for fittings for the wheel arch liner and mud flaps, a glitch with the intermittent wipers not returning properly, and windscreen being resealed (not going to bother with swapping it now).
