  1. Love that you call it a cigar lighter instead of cigarette How the other half live
  2. Hello all. I'm looking for a bit of help. I've just bought a bargain momo wheel, which after a wee bit of TLC it's looking much better. Problem is, I don't get how the horn connects up. All of the how to guides (including @10000rpm fine one on here) and videos seem to show 2 wires from the horn... This one only has 1 which is wired to a brass ring on the boss. So in the horn part, there's a brass spring which looks like it could turn the body of the wheel / boss into the ground / close the circuit when the button is pressed, but I'm not sure how this connects up to the OEM connections. Anyone have any clues?
  3. Just to add... I wouldn't go using the red key unless you completely understand what is going to happen first... It can have serious consequences I think.
  4. Hi bud, hope everything's okay. There's a bit in the service manual about it.. Looks like you need to use the red key, but it doesn't describe the procedure. Unless someone else knows, bit more searching is needed about using the red key?
  5. Bet you're glad to get that one out the way. They're so much more important now than when the main reason for them was for smoking (where has the smoking smiley gone?...)
  6. Camber arms look nice and tidy mate. Think I'm in need of some new Bush action.. Let us know how the poly ones feel... I've never convinced myself that they won't be too firm / crash.
  7. Wheels look good mate.. Proper job Look forward to seeing them back on the car
  8. Any idea where the noise is coming from generally? Is it like a knock or does it keep rattling?
  9. Most things that I look for on lings nowadays says they're unavailable...
  10. I think that with silicon you're relying on the jubilee clip (or similar) to do all the work, whereas with rubber over time it starts to weld itself to the metal, so even if there's a problem with the seal from the clip, the fact that the rubber has joined forces with the metal will save the day. That said, there's plenty of people who've been running silicon hoses without any issues. I've got silicon ones on (for about 9 months I think) and so far so good.
  11. Not really I mentioned it because I spotted the induction kit... It's just that it's an extra bit of gubbins that's not needed anymore . I suppose taking it out might make a path for air to come into the engine bay, but likely to be such a small effect.
  12. Nice job Should've whipped out the resonator box while you had the bumper out
  13. Wow! That must be a whole heap of fun! Looks like it's in tip top nick as well.. Looking forward to seeing more of her

Looking good bud... Super low! Get yourself a build thread going so people can see all about it
  15. Top work with the grill mate.. Looks good. Think you were right to chop out as much as you did, and like the way the H sits in the front.
  16. All mb / mc wings are the same. I'd have thought that the bumper from any mb / mc would fit too, but the bumper is different? At least it would lack the lip.
  17. That's where all the decks have gone... They've flew south for their old age
