    When you start putting throttle bodies and manifolds etc on I think that’s when you should think about getting a different ECU and think about mapping... lots of info on here about different ecu’s etc I’m sure someone will be able to help out... for HT leads I went for magnecor, can’t remember where I got them from, maybe demon tweeks or somewhere like that online... as for the air box I’m unsure of the fitting yet as I haven’t done this myself, but again, there’s lots of people on here that have so I’ll let someone else clear that up!

    Another fantastic build here!! Quality work and dedication... the switch console looks snazzy... what options are all the switches for if you don’t mind me asking? Ah, wire tuck... wanted to do this for soo long... everyone says yeah just pull this here and put that there and there you have it... but it still looks way too daunting to even want to start it!! Lol!

    Looks a tidy MB mate... as everyone has said, keep on top of the servicing and she’ll be bullet proof!! For a very minor / subtle power upgrade could start by looking at the air intake and maybe better plug leads to get you started? I recommend against a cheapo short ram induction cone air filter... too much heat soak... Ive got this but want to get an ‘Integra Type R’ air box, this is what I think everyone recommends??

    Thanks for the vote of confidence guys... would have had the rear brakes done this eve but the parts are at work and I thought they were at home haha! Doh!! but going back to my previous post... if anyone could point me in the right direction, or to the right place for getting vinyls made up that would be great??

    Ha! My photoshop skills are too good... I’m flattered that you think they look real! ... the rim colour is also a photoshop lol! not sure how or where to go for the side stickers, as I’ve kind of edited the F&F Supra side vinyl... any ideas who can make them up from say a high res image or something??? also to update the decks state of play... dizzy problem is sorted, starter motor is sorted (bad earth) front discs n pads are done... just rear discs n pads to do before she’s roadworthy... im planning to get to the point in my Mercedes finance agreement where I can just hand it back then I’m going to have the deck as my daily again!! then in I will be able to continue with the project as I’ll be able to work on it at work in lunch hours etc. What do you think Tom?... likey or no likey?

    Well, still no time for the deck with this mammoth of a project house to deal with... but I still pop on occasionally to see what you guys have been up to. plus, time away from the deck gives me time for ideas... what I’m wanting it to look like now... probably will change again in future but right now this is what I want it looking like

    I tried to get them flaps on with my vti s kit and gave up lol. They look good!

    Grill looks good, I carbon wrapped my 'H' and put in middle of mesh previously and that looked pretty good... like in my image ^^^

    I had a cheap set of eBay coilies before... think they were originally EK and the rears I adjusted to their absolute highest and still wouldn't sit high enough to match the front... also at that adjustment they were solid as anything! not saying the same will happen but that's my experience mate

    Fantastic reading here @Finch I'm pretty excited to see the outcome of both of your projects (more so the turbo build ) shame on the crash... has it gone through insurance or were you able to keep it between yourselves?? Doesnt look like like too much to repair, though after reading your thread, seems money is no object for you haha!!

    Exhaust looks really well made mate... so handy to have a mate you can just rock up to and have a custom system made up for you haha!

    That's why I love you guys!!! That hadn't crossed my mind! well Jayar car parts want £185 before surcharge for a pattern! £87 after surcharge... think ill I'll go for the new pattern from ignition car parts... already thrown nearly £400 at her this month!!! Lol

    Ok I took the starter off and tested it using my jump pack and it kicks out and seems to spin up fine. when on the car it clicks in every now and then without turning it over but 9 times out of 10 it doesn't even click in... I'm thinking it's clicking in the first time then getting stuck on the teeth so that's why it doesn't click afterwards.... i turned the the engine over by bottom pulley to make sure engine not seized and went round lovely... my conclusion is is off the car the starter spins up fine but on the car it just doesn't have enough minerals to turn the engine any more... ive looked on ignition car parts and I'm confused why a new starter is 50 odd pound and a recon one is over 100 notes??

    Any recommendations on a new starter?? Or is a Jayar car parts standard one as good as any?
