  1. Yeah he's a top bloke, I'll be using him again if I need any mapping work done. Wish he was based up Manchester way though
  2. I've been useless at keeping this thing updated. once I'm on the laptop I'll get a load of photos up. the cars now back on the road driving sweet, drove it to l9ndon to have Romain map it. the car made 333bhp witch he said will be a very safe map, it could of done alot more power but with it being the stock engine it's probably best not to push it too much! I do have up to date photos on my Instagram if anyone on here uses that @dans_aerodeck
  3. monster, beautifulcar you've got there pal
  4. I've just got the same ecu for mine but it's not ready to run yet. so I can't really comment. have you checked all the earths. on my old kswapped em2 I missed on earth off and it would turn over but wouldnt start.
  5. nice looking aerodeck. I've got meisters on mine they're spot on. what wheels are you looking at? is the mx5 yours? that looks interesting
  6. what engine is it? I've got a spare one from my vti aerodeck if that's any good?
  7. I bought a fabia vrs to use along side the aerodeck and it was great unroll it kept breaking, I treated like a van I've still got it I just need to fix it.. again! then get it sold. So the replacment... I found this on eBay and it wasn't to far away. It's got a couple of things to sort out but other than that I'm really happy with it. The guy I bought it from had it for 4/5 years but the guy he bought it from put the jdm wind deflectors, recaro seats and tegiwa intake on. Sounds insane in vtec!
  8. engines looking tidy, I was tempted to paint mine black
  9. can't go wrong with a mx-5 I've always wanted one. there's one like this near my dad's that's been parked up for ages. if it's still there I'll have to go and knock on and see if they'd sell it Look forward to see the progress pal
  10. work of art, can't wait to see this in the flesh!
  11. looks like a nice clean base pal. but... something's wrong with your motor. The steering wheel is on the wrong side!
  12. try get a decent brand and you'll be fine with the leads. it might be worth checking the cap and rotor. I'vejust changed the cap and rota on mine for geanuine honda ones. The old one was well worn and not worth keeping.
  13. welding is done and the fuel tank back in. Now to find the missing water pipes and replace a broken fuel line, along with putting all the suspension back on. What a job this turned in to!
  14. nice, hadn't seen this on here untill now. I do like the 4 doors more just because you don't see them as much.
  15. well I've got the engine back in, wiring loom on, inlet, front wings back on because I kept sticking myself to the underseal only got this picture but I'll get some from under the car next time I'm there. the s**tty looking engine cover will be changed already got a nice one waiting for it. I'll put that on when it's pretty much done.
  16. well the welding is 95% done, the cars been undersealed but there's still a few bits that need abit more. Will get some pictures over the weekend once the underseal has dried.
  17. the DeLorean is cool but give me the civic over it
  18. I'm in the process of boosting my vti aerodeck. boosted Honda's are reliable providing you do it right and keep the boost low.
  19. Well I'm hoping to get the welding done in the first week of August with the help of my mate. fingers crossed we can get it done in a day or two! I've decided to get a s300 ecu so I've ordered a MAC boost solenoid ready for that along with some uprated engine mounts. I've started to clean up the tank before that goes back on. Its only the welding holding things up really. once that's the rest can be put back together.
  20. mishimoto are really good had one on my old civic, they come with a life time warranty too
  21. yeah it will help for sure. I've got a thick aluminium one for mine. Flush the coolant and get some good anti freeze in and you should be good. Double check your fan is working too and it may be worth getting a slimline fan for the new rad?
  22. it would have needed a fair amount of water to pass through. remove the filter clean and dry it then I'd be removing the spark plugs and checking the leads.. then go from there
  23. here's what state it's in at the minute, its really killed the motivation I had but I won't be beaten!
  24. yeah I had found them, I've messaged to see if they have any for the aerodeck but I've not heard back. I might end up ordering these. but the sills will have to be made, fun and games!
