  1. That looked amazing fun and must have been great to get the car onto the track to see what she's really like. I think one day value wise these (especially the vti/vtis) will start to be worth a lot more than they currently are, mostly due to how rare they are becoming. True they'll never be worth as much as some of the other modern classics but that just means we're less afraid to use them. You could always do mods that are easy to reverse, so you could return to oem spec if you wanted? Things like fitting recaros/typeR seats or bucket seats can be done and you could always just store the original fronts (would also mean the original seats would be kept mint ). Was that Rich from Dynodaze diving the EG? Great seeing even an FN2 cocking a wheel in the corners!

Sorry to hear about your Mrs losing her job mate, never a good time for that to happen but even more so under the current covid circumstances. Something will turn up though, it always does . Glad you're enjoying the deck, really are amazing cars ain't they! I need to get the trailing bushes done on DD as they're well past their best. Good to see you taking care of her mate as these cars are getting rarer and hard to find good ones now. They're already getting into modern classic car territory so great to see yours being well looked after. Obviously won't be this year but would be great to get a massive civic5 meet organized for next year once things return to some kind of normality. Would love to see this and a .ot of the other members civics in the metal!
  3. a worthy win mate, love your pre face-lift civic. Deffo a rare car nowadays
  4. All be worth once it shes fixed mate, superb wee cars these. Think honda made some of their best cars during the 90's ours included. I've had 2 of the later civics (2011 TypeS and 2008 TypeR) and although loved them both, they're a pig to work on! Now just got the aerodeck so most things are an easy fix
  5. Nice, so you won't have the same issue through time that I had with Ruby's old fogs where the yellow film melted/rotted away. Proper yellow glass ones are rare these days mate
  6. Deffo get yourself a Haynes manual, although be aware these aint like the manuals of old. They're made from recycled (and very thin) paper now so very easy to tear the page just turning it over. If you can't trace the fault with the lights on buzzer, you can retro fit one very easily mate. I've fitted one to my mk1 MX5 for the same reason that the lights can be left on by mistake. Think it only cost a fiver or something. Will try and find the link for you. With the wiring diagram for the civic m that's in the Haynes book, should be a doddle to fit.
  7. Deffo liking it better with the smoked headlights instead of the yellow ones, although the yellow fogs I would keep as they go well with the look. Looking good Craig!
  8. Only 1 car entered this month? Ok, wee have a winner lol Congrats to calopooo and your sweet civic!
  9. OMG! The cars in those pics......my brain has just melted. I'll have them all please! Some really nice classics and modern classics, you've landed at the right place there by the look of things. Good they can fit you in too when they have a lot of projects on the go, deffo must have a good rep for folk to be entrusting them with those cars for resto....That line up of modern classics.....mk2 xr2.....mk2 cavalier....mk1 fiesta....and then all the older ones like Vauxhall victor and pc cresta, Austin six, old mercs, alfa romeo, mk2 Jag, E Type Jag, MG's Mini....I'd be happy as a pig in muck spending a day there just looking!!
  10. Meguires do a paste for headlights mate, available online or from most car accessory places. Think other ones are available too such as Turtlewax CLICK HERE
  11. That has to be the mintest shell I've seen mate, really does look like new. Are you doing the rebuild yourself or letting the new garage do the work?
  12. No way! Grants old deck? I didn't even know he still had it! That was one well looked after and sorted deck mate, perfect place for tubs to live on in! New chapter for both grans aerodeck and Tubs! Let the fun begin! If you see Grant again tell him I was asking for him, no seen him in the forum for a long time
  13. A quick one this month folks as we're running a bit behind with the competitions. Get the cars you would like to see win entered now!! You can enter another members civic or even your own. Lets see em! Entry time is until Friday, then voting will start and finish on Sunday
  14. And our winner is Chief and their stunning aerodeck. Well done mate, love this one!!

    New steering pump

I'm almost sure the Integra DC2 one is the same, Just the rack that's geared different I think? Somebody will need to clarify this though.
  17. Wow! that's gonna be one of the quickest pre-facelift Civic M-s on the road mate! Likey likey this a lot!! True sleeper.
  18. Ok folks, voting is open and closes at 10pm on Sunday so vote for your favourite asap!!
  19. They are really nice cars mate, even he FN1 (TypeS) I had was a stunning car to look at and the interior is amazing. I still think that even though it doesnt have the same power (only 130bhp) the TypeS was the better of the two, certainly easy to live with. The rock hard suspension of the FN2 is what let it down. Lovely car on a super smooth road tho! And quick!
