  1. Good choice mate, 16's are a nice size, 15's are nice but the size of the Aerodeck can make some styles look too small, especially dished rims. 17's look ace, but think they can be just a bit too big (just my personal opinion). Those Watanabe rims look epic! Similar style to what I want for my mk1 mx5 (will just be 15's for that though as big rims on the mx5 ruin the handling that these cars are famous for). That deck looks amazing on them eh!
  2. Oh ya highland dancer, its like watching a birth! Tubs is almost reborn! Not long now mate!!
  3. I've got 16 inch Cades on DD which have a nice little dish to them. Pic one is with her lowered on them (running 195/4516 tyres), pic 2 is on OEM suspension on them (running 195/5516 tyres) The diff between low profile and higher profile 45 profile 55 profile. Know they should ideally be 50 profile on 16's but prefer the 55's for comfort and also filling the arch gap a bit better. The margin for the speedo being out is nominal so think its well worth it.
  4. Cracking job mate, I love the fact you do all the work yourself, not scared to give it a go. Think thats the beauty of these civics, mods are hard to find off the shelf for them so members get creative. I'm hoping the new garage is built soon as I want to give the double din conversion a try on DD. Got the bits there ready. Also had a look into the digital climate controle conversion from a MGZS but it's just way more than I would take on, lot of work and the parts are apparently getting hard to find.
  5. The one thing I love the most about this Civic is it's constantly evolving, no matter what time of year it is. Love your dedication to working on her no matter the weather mate. The rear lights deffo look nicer shiney, and the mesh makes the vents look so much better. Again, its all the wee details that add up to the bigger picture.
  6. @TheRedAerodeckNice clean looking Aerodeck that mate, sitting nice and those headlights look awesome. Nice job! Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. Agree with Simon, don't see many red Aerodecks now, so good to see one thats looked after.
  7. blue print are usually spot on with all their stuff mate. Fingers crossed this time
  8. Wow! The car looks like she just rolled out the showroom mate, new bumper paint makes such a difference. Are those tyres legal on the road?? Look almost like slicks!! lol Be the grip is insane in the dry.........and probably "interesting" in the wet! lol
  9. Dave should have been a detective! lol
  10. Think this might be his photo stream? Some pics of the civic there, and taken from the link to some og hos photos of it on here.
  11. Indeed it was! Was thinking that come respray time, might do DD in that colour. The civic m realy suited it well!
  12. Yeah, been searching today and both his websites have gone totally. Had a look on FB but can't find him. An amazing Civic that, would love to see it again. The mods were incredible!
  13. Im always on the hunt for alloys for the mx5 so will keep an eye out for you bud
  14. Ok, when parked up, how long does your battery stay charged in your Civic M? Let us know below! Also include whether you have an after market alarm turned on or not too. Know these cars seem to not like being left parked up with the battery connected for long periods of time, but looking to see what the average park up period is on them before the battery goes flat. And is it just a myth that it is the little clock in the dash that drains it? Use template below (copy/paste) Battery lasts: Alarm on?: Any extra info:
  15. Well, I'm annoyed with DD! Went to go out last night to pick up some IT equip to get properly set up for work at home.....turned the key...nada, not even enough power to turn over the engine! Battery flat again! Was only just fully charged about a week and a half ago, and although she's been sitting, shes been on 1 decent run. Pee'd off now, going to buy a new battery and see how she fairs. Out of curiosity, how long can your Civic M's sit before battery is gubbed? Is it really the clock that drains it, or is it maybe the factory immobilizer? I don't put the alarm on when she's sitting at home, so just lock her with the oem fob.
