Off the top of my head DAVEMB2s mb3 has 126bhp i think. He has changed the exhaust on it tho, have a look at his thread (Trin2). There actually a cracking mb to get, totally amazing mpg and still quick enough to have fun in. Hope you get it mate! Is it cascade green or bakhal green? Dave mb3 》》》》

Yeah, called insurance today so theyre gonna email in and check it out. Garage came with truck this morning to take jer away so now starts the waiting game.
-
Lol not any more it isn't! On a more positive note, my colleague suggested sending an email round the council to see if anyone saw anything. One of the chaps through in the main I.T. dept emailed me back telling me that the place has more than just their own cameras. The council/police have cameras there too. So he showed me where the cameras were and one will possibly have seen the culprit, and another is placed so it will hopefully have got their reg when they drove out! Just to let my insurance company know to contact him directly as he can then work with the police to view the footage. Said it might not amount to anything but well worth a check.

Cheers mate, yeah has been gutting. Hate all the waiting to hear from repairers to, just want it in and fixed ASAP. Gayle's gonna take to/from work which is good of her as she doesn't want DD out in this crappy weather (had snow her but gone now) and doesn't want DD left in that car park

Looking at where the water is in photo, I'd say it is to be the arch mate. From what you say, I gather the arch lips have been cut off and then the inner/outer arches welded together? The only other place I can think of is under the gutter strips on roof. My type r had a leak there which soaked the inner quarter panel and rear seat belt. Lol the plastic gutter cover off and check for any breaks in the seals.

The insurance seemed to think its repairable so just depends on repair place.

Just put her in the garage and had a bit of a closer look.......took effin ages to get the bonnet open! Thought the headlight had escaped damage but its totally smashed all the brackets off the light plus slam panel had been shoved towards inner wheel arch. Bastids! Damage doesnt look that bad with bonnet down appart from the mile gap between light and bonnet that you can shove your hand in, and the huge gap between the wheel arch and bonnet. Looking from drivers door towards front the bonnet is sticking out a fair old whack and is creased. Bumper has a split in it and the mounting point for it is gubbed. Been a healthy smack for it being in a bloody car park! Thing is, she was parked in probably the safest space in the whole car park, nobody cokld park behind her, and cod only park on the space next to pass side. Space was right at bottom of car park in the corner so well out of the way. Be buggeted if i can understand how or why it happened. Was gonna use dd in the summer for going to work but no way im leaving her there!

gutted! Left work today and went to get Carly from the car park at midlothian bowling club. Got to car to find some low life scum had either reversed or drove into her at some speed. Been hit on drivers side front, impact has busted the bonnet, bumper, front slam panel at headlight is bashed so headlight pointing at road (although light itself has no damage). Worst bit? That b's just buggred off, no note or anything with their details. Bloody hate tossers that do that. Now im left with having to go through insurance as a fault claim, arranging car to go into repair centre, arranging a car to use while shes in, paying excess etc. All for something that wasnt my fault. Checked with the bowling club but thry showed me their cameras, all of which are in the wrong place. Least the insurance are gonna get her fixed but pees me off. Will put pics up tomorrow. Know its a white car, as theres traces of white paint so will be on the lookout in the car park on monday for a white car with damage...........

Found this on eBay, 34 thousand miles on it! Short MOT and needs a bit of love but wouldn't take much to make that a stunning deck. Hope someone here buys it! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Civic-VTI-MC2-Aerodeck-B18C4-/162382525289?hash=item25cec0b369:g:g1oAAOSwTglYlL1l

Hi Paul Should be an easy fix mate. The light your seeing on dash is "door open", not door unlocked. When the light comes on, are the doors actually open when you check them? If the doors are closed, then the problem is an easy fix. If you open the doors, you will see a small microswitch on the C pillar near the catch. It may just need adjusting. Undo to screw slightly just enough to let you move the switch. Move it outwards (away from the car's interior) then retighten. If the problem persists, try spraying a small amount of WD40 into the switch them work the switch in and out. If that doesn't fix it, replace the switch. Let us know how you get on. @pau2112

A lot of them you need to do it yourself but due to health and safety rules most will remove it for you mate. Not sure on the going rate for one but think at a breakers it will be below the £150 mark
-
That's pretty damn good mate, just one advisory is excellent. Mot times always a worry! Think the drop links on the mini might need doing before the MOT comes up but other than that hope the MOT goes like yours!
-
Sounds serious bud. Might be worth taking it apart again like krzys says, although not a lot you can do with gearboxes if you're not a specialist. You'll find a d series gearbox in most breakers yards mate, very easy to come by. Phone some local breakers and ask if they have any 1.4, 1.5 or 1.6 civics in. Even one from a 3 door should fit I think.

so much love for this car! -
Thanks mate, had her out again just before christmas for a run, just drives like a dream. Really wanting the bonnet and front lip resprayed though, but moneys tight with the wedding coming up in June so might have to settle for doing something with in around august methinks. Also contemplating a double din conversion as Ive got two spare centre consoles to play with so that might be happening this year too. Still got the pioneer DD touchscreen I had in the typeS and typeR so would be nice to fit it to something! Six hunde red quids worth of head unit sitting in its box in the garage is a waste!
