  1. Just a case of getting the bits from the hatch mate and fitting them to your aerodeck. They bolt straight in.
  2. Yup they are indeed mate. There is also some differences between model years although it's limited to the MA/MB change over. The loops you're on about and I think one of the hinges are different?
  3. Thats the spirit! Be good if you can keep the insurance out of it mate, make her cough up. Stops them putting a cat tag on it. I take it the cops know? Hope she gets done big time! Damage to hers looks bloody minimal too which sucks!
  4. Are the chassis legs intact mate? Getting all the bits 2nd hand wouldn't cost that much I don't think. If the insurance coughs up some cash she should be repairable mate. Know what insurance is like though..... They'll just want to write it off Fight them bud.......and the silly uninsured cow! She deserves a slap!
  5. Ahh ffs! That looks pretty severe mate i take it the lex_arse driver is uninsured? Id sue the feck out of him bud. Does she have chassis damage? If its just panels/llights etc shes well worth saving. What happened to cause the crash?
  6. Yeah, my thinking too Tom. Just thought id put it out there, see what the views were on it.
  7. We have new members signing up so there will be different civic m's appearing. The fact that this is a one marque/one model site is why cotm is for civic m's only. Pretty much like most other one make/model sites. I have thought about maybe starting another section for car of the month for any car, but that would be without prizes etc. Maybe a winners photo on the home page of the forum. Problem being it might take away from our original cotm so not sure? Congrats Alex, stunning aerodeck mate

    Wheel colour

I like all 3, but the grey wins for me
  9. Garage costs for this may be quite high mate (any welding costs a bit nowadays). Looking from pics it's hard to tell how hard the impact was, but as long as the chassis legs are straight, then getting a new panel fitted shouldn't be an issue. By the looks of it you'll also need a new crashbar (for behind the bumper). It's deffo saveable though on first impressions, have seen a few that were worse than that and were saved mate. It might be worthwhile pricing up a new slam panel (think these are still available) as most garages will prefer to work with a new panel as opposed to one that's been cut from another car. Can't see the panel being more than £250 max. welding wise, if you take off everything you can it will also cut the costs for the garage.
  10. See, for me i thought the styling was bang on! Most reviews put ut down as dull but i thought it was a classy shape. Anyways what do RAC know about cars? Lmao they once came out to my late dads broken down clio, which we suspected the timing belt had gone (which it had). Rac guy first connected jumpleads up to it wrong (and still don't know why he used them, as the battery was fine!) and blew the electrics then tried constantly to start then engine! End result, all valves bent! Good find though Simon!
  11. Lol good to see you back mate. That's low miles for an 07 fn2. Looks like mind too being alabaster silver, a rarer colour as most are red or black. How did you find fitting the double din? Lol
  12. Yeah, will be the switch on the pillar mate. I think if memory serves me rightly you can loosen the switch off and move it slightly so that the door pushes the button fully home?
  13. On a side note, who's on forza 6 here? Know I spotted Ali, anyone else?
  14. Lol nope, I got a beard! But for some reason it doesn't show in the pics so I look like Tom bloody Selick! Lmao Have to say, if you get the chance to drive a Lambo, go for it! I want one so bad now! Lol even spent last night on forza 6 racing "my lambo!".
  15. Was unbelievable mate! I wanna do it again!

  17. So, Gayle had got me a driving experience, so had it booked for today. Driving what? A Ferrari California and a Lamborghini Gallardo on the track! The track itself is laid out on an old air strip. The Ferrari only had a V8, but wholly cow the power was awesome, really scary the acceleration these things have! Loved it! Then got to drive the Lambo.............which has the V10! OMFG! This thing is an animal!!!! The acceleration is brutal, and it just keeps going! All steering is done racing style, and you just point it and it goes there! Totally unbelievable car, and the sound is just amazing! The instructor in the Lambo (a Welsh guy ) was a racing driver (can't remember what he races in) so showed some awesome lines to take to really make it fly. As we were on the last lap, he said instead of braking for the corner as usual, we're going straight on....................so keep the foot planted until I say brake!! I glanced at the speedo when we went through the chicane, and think it was around 120mph (it was going up so fast was hard to make it out!) but reckon we must have hit maybe 150? before braking then coming back in to the stand area. My bloody adrenaline was going faster than the car bye the end! So I've decided......bugger vtec! I want a Lambo! Massive thanks to Gayle for this amazing experience! Love ya babes!
  18. Yeah, slam panel does need changing too. It has been done on here before, not sure whos it was though.
  19. Whats the plans for it mate? Looks like a great base to start with.
  20. The white one is on fb being broken for parts
  21. Cudos for building the site from scratch mate, it's a thankless task to say the least. But if you have the passion for it, the time and knowledge the end result is well worth it. I gave up on web design/html/php as I got to the stage where my brain was tired of it (See above eyes bleeding!) hence why I packed up mt wee web design company. Too much work and hassle. That's why this site is on it's current and probably last design and platform. Even modding the IPS platform to suit our needs has been time consuming and think my passion for all this web malarky has well and truely fizzled out!. What editor did you go for for your site? Is it CKeditor, tiny mice or something similar? Hate the editor for this site but kinda stuck with it now.
  22. Totally agree with you mate, FB does my nut in! Is that ..dash site a website youve created from scratch or is it one thats already running and you created a group on? Just noticed the url in the screenshot says its running from local_host so assume your building it yourself? Fair play to you mate, a social media platform for car enthusiasts would be interesting. Like the sound of the dturbo build too!
