Yeah I want to tint out the back windows but I have never done it before. My oleman is going to help though. Hopefully it's not too hard to do! -

Roj's Mean Green No Fire Trucks Given Machineâ„¢ (Rust In Pieces)

I wonder if the foglight fuse is something to do with brakes lights too? Example: In the EG's if you remove the the horn fuse, the lights won't work either because they are both linked. Stupid really... -

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress
vtec2011 replied to vtec2011's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Went to Halfrauds to get window tint but they didn't have any. But I did see this in the sale for 15 quid! The Aerodeck badly needed to be clayed and I never done it before. So I gave it a go and I don't think I done too bad. The car feels soo silky now When taking the pics I couldn't get the Pirates Black to show but it defiantly has come up beautiful! Oh yes I got the VTi interior in and the MGZS dash inserts installed -
Is it a 1.5 or 1.6?

You're in the same sort of situation as me! As said before, you cannot beat that price! What do you think of the little D15Z8 engine? I think they're nippy little things for what they are and amazing on fuel

As said on FB, it looks proper SWEET! Splitter Scuffers sticker, finally some ones doing it right with the right sticker -
Nicely done mate and what a BARGAIN! That is a better bargain than my 1.5 Deck! I got mine for 300 quid with new 6 months tax and 10 months MOT. But it needs a lot of work..

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress
vtec2011 replied to vtec2011's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
That is exactly what I was trying to get at, am I doing this right or wrong? The way I'm thinking is if I stick to the D15 block with a Y8 head and running a P28 tuned ECU, I'm probably looking anywhere between 140 - 160bhp or turbo'd probably 200bhp or a bit more. But a standard B16 they are around 160bhp! Why all the hassle when I can go the B route... I love D-series engines but sometimes you got to move on -
My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress
vtec2011 replied to vtec2011's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Cheers folks! More stuff has been taken off the MB3 today including the rear light loom, good idea @craigblight . I don't know if hatchback rear light bulb plugs will fit but I shall have a look! I have wax oiled the Aerodeck including the seals. Looking underneath, the brake pipes will need replacing and the fuel lines going to the petrol tank are very corroded. So that will have to be sorted very soon!! Now question for you lot! I was looking at the engine in the MB3 thinking... is it really worth taking the engine out and rebuilding it along with a mini-me swap? I mean for the price of the rebuild kit, ecu, harness converter and all the rest, for around the same price I can pick up a B16 or B18 engine. A mate of mine will be putting a K20 in a B16 converted EG sometime next year. Or should I just stick to the original plan?
