Welcome back bud! Nice looking deck you've got this time. Like what you've done with the CRV rear, tidy job relocating the plate recess!

Wow! looks absolutely stunning mate! Super clean and shiney! Love the matching low profile rocker cover bolts too, all in the details! That dipstick is class! -
Cheers guys! Was an old pic I found of when it was first done. Main pic is outside Transcal UK when we went to pick her up. Can still remember Dawns face when she saw it, we were both blown away by the quality of it and how it totally changed the look inside the car. Agree deffo the best mod on the car!

That looks awesome mate! Always wanted to do this to DD, nevber thought of using a rear tailgate one from a deck! I'm the same, don't want to loose the height Honda so generously gave us for the bonnet opening, so this looks like the answer! Top work mate! -

So,nice sunny day to day up here (probably our summer!) so got DD out to get washed and polished. Took her out for a nice long run today and as always drove perfect. Came home and pulled into the drive, got out and noticed a VW stopped outside the drive. Guy shouts me over, then asks "is it for sale mate??" I've obviously said no, and he tells me he spotted DD last year getting all waxed and polished (must have been the civic5 meet) and has been wanting one for a while now. His mate had a vti deck, but swapped it for an Accord typeR which he says was the worst thing he ever done! So the guys gonna have a look on here at all the sweet M's, hoping to maybe find one for sale. So today on her wee run DD has had; 2 waves 1 flash of the lights followed with a thumbs up countless stares 1 person wanting to buy her!!! lol Don't even remember getting this much attention with my restored MK3 Cortina GXL! She's a popular girl indeed! I love this car!!!!!

Jesse! Spinning the rollers! Lol what RR company was it mate? Can't believe they were gonna let you drive back on 55psi! The increase in psi probably what contributed to the wheel spin too. -
Sounds sweet Mae!

Is that last photo photoshopped mate? lol Quite like that with the indicators! Good job you got the chrome H painted again, Tom would have gone into meltdown had it been left Chrome!!

Sooooo much want! What a cracking buy mate, she's a stunner and deffo a keeper!

Yeah, the fobs and actually the whole remote central locking system is pants! You need to be close to the car for it to work, and the fob needs an unrestricted view of the sensor inside the car or it doesn't work. What you can do is try and clean the inside of the rubber buttons, as they can get dirty and then failt to make proper contact with the circuit board.Be careful cleaning them though, just use a damp cloth and go gently on them. There's like a coating on them (magnetic? Lead? Or something else!) so be careful not to remove it when cleaning. Clean the battery terminals inside the fob too, to make sure it's getting good contact. If the fob got really wet and the water got inside (after the battery was replaced) the new battery could now be busted. TBH, you're deffo better with an aftermarket alarm system that has the remote locking feature or like you say the Hawk lockinjg system. Much much better than the oem system!

Deffo for me too, the old ones looked better and more purposeful.

lol I quite like the CRV's, not a bad car at all. Like every other car out there, yeah they do have their faults, but most of it is covered on the internet so all fixable. They aren't the most fuel efficient cars out there that's for sure, but if you aint too fussed about that then yeah go for it mate. I did prefer the diesel but like you say, the reviews about them arte a hit and miss, so not sure if it's probably better to go for the petrol version. Either way, not a bad car to potter around in, and at least it's still a Honda!

Oh dear, can see why you'd want to change them mate. Any front. bumper from the facelift MB 5 door civics will fit. For the rear, again the facelift bumpers are all the same between 5door civic m's and are cheap to buy. Give our member/trader 10000RPM as he usually has them in stock. . Or any breakers local to you should also have them .
