  1. love the MOTO GP! Will add it to my list of things to watch!!
  2. Had a look and I can't find it either mate. I'm not sure if one actually got done and added to the how to's, seem to remember a member did it and it was on their project thread how to do it? Anyone remember who actually did the how to?
  3. lol That'll be because they're pee'd off at losing the F1. Coverage was pretty ok apart from the adverts. Race wise, the new qualy format is a huge fail and looks like it's going to be changed again so should be interesting. Quite a bit of good action in this race mate, especially midfield teams! Enjoyed it so looking forward to the next race.
  4. lol can't escape my accent! lol If the rubber stops are as low as they'll go, then it might be worth seeing if the catch can be moved down slightly. Again, not sure if there's room for adjustment on those but imagine there must be some. If that doesn't fix it then it could be the front panel has been badly fitted so getting things to line up will be hard. All trial and error I guess, seeing what gets it sitting right.
  5. Looking good Karen! Grill looks way better, and loads of nice we mods you've got so far. Regarding the bonnet height, if memory serves me right there should be rubber adjustable stops that you can turn to get it sitting lower? Not sure how much adjustment you'll have with the bonnet catch. Think it's maybe down to who ever repaired her in the past has maybe not spent enough time lining things up properly, but you should be able to get it sitting better than it is just now. Does the front slam panel look like it's been replaced at some point? The two front wings appear to have been replaced so quite probable that has too. Might mean more fiddling to get it all sitting nice and flush. Excellent progress so far though!
  6. Just about to watch the race highlights. Will be interesting to see how channel 4 host it this year! The new qualifying format has proved to be an epic FAIL! Drivers and team bosses are already calling for it to be changed! Oh the drama!!
  7. Forgot to say...............the Osram Night breakers make an amazing difference! Love these bulbs!
  8. Grill looks sweet Karen, nice job! That's gonna really change the look of the front, looking forward to seeing it fitted. RE the rear arch rubbers, I'd put them back on. Contrerary to urban myths, they do actually save the rear arch lips from stone damage etc, and as long as kept clean will really preserve the arches.
  9. That's a really strange one mate and not something we've heard of before. It could be that the pad itself has moved due to the metal clip breaking away from it, hence why you got the metal on metal noise. Is there actually a retaining screw on the rear discs? Or has it been left off when someones changed the pads previously? It may be that the screw has sheared when they've gone to remove it, so might still be a bit still in there? The wheel bolts do hold it in place when tightened up so it shouldn't move other than the directions its meant to. Honda sell the retaining screws mate. Bought a few from my main dealership (Western Honda). New discs and pads should have you all sorted. @m0l0t0v
  10. Could well be low on oil mate so make that your first port of call. Change the oil as these boxes love fresh oil! If that doesn't cure it, if you can, get hold of a standard shift and swap out the short shifter, see if it's maybe that that's at fault. If still the same, have a lookat where the selector goes into the box, make sure alls well there. If still the same, could be clutch/release bearing worn. I now Ruby had a really stiff gear change just before the clutch went (well, I say went, i changed it just in time! It fell to pieces when they removed it!) but felt like a whole new car with a new clutch fitted. Gear changes were precise and smooth. Need to update your profile too now if you have an MB6! lol Looking forward to seeing this one soon bud. Might need to get a few members together for a wee jaunt now the better weathers here.

Tidy Crv mate. Didn't know about the premature wear on the cam, pretty poor effort on Honda's part that. Looks weird not seeing a spare wheel on the rear, I take it the split window doesn't open if the spare wheel is on the door?

See, now that's just perfect for Phil's civic5 cafe at japfest! Looks like you'll be on the tea duties again! lol Looks in really nice nick mate, and at least she's still a Honda. So you deffo parting ways with the deck then?
  15. lmao wasn't me! Must have been an impersonator! Or maybe DD was just excited to see her old garage mate and sister Ruby! lol
probably the most useful thing you'll ever download! Excellent info and every Honda Civic M owner should have this! The manual is for the aerodeck but it covers everything for the 5 door hatch too except the tailgate.
  16. Tell you what, the thought has crossed my mind a few times Tom! But it would only make me drive it fast and she never gets driven in anger, so have resisted the urge. Roxy is for the fast fun!
  17. Really nice to see how different the car looks to when Ali had it, putting you're own stamp on it. Was looking sweet before, and looks sweet now but like a totally different car. Like a second chapter!
  18. Making good progress now, looking forward to seeing the pics of respray mate. Gearbox and rad look spot on and loving the dash!
  19. Welcome back bud! Nice looking deck you've got this time. Like what you've done with the CRV rear, tidy job relocating the plate recess!
  20. Thought I'd post these, our trader and member 10000RPM from Speed Equip VTiS Aerodeck. Stunning!
