Nice upgrade on the brakes mate. Loving the photos on the track, how was the trip there and back? Always wanted to go!

Bloody scum! Really pee's me off that mate. Pitty you didn't catch the fucker at the time, know what I would do with them! Try the hot water first as the heat gun might make the paint crack when you pop the bumper out.

Started converting the how to guide into aq document and will upload it once done. Will also post a how to topic with this. Excellent work mate!

If you have a welder and a garage to do the repairs in then it may be worth it if similar civic are going for the same money. The focus looks clean and tidy, but if its a civic you want the focus won't cut it. You can still buy repair panels for them (sills, arches etc) and if they aren't listed look for rover 400 as they're usually listed.

Hmm, as much as I hate seeing a civic being broken/scrapped, I'm just not sure its worth repairing mate. The rust being the issue. Its needing a fair bit of welding, plus looks as though there are already areas that have been filled with body filler, so probably more rust just waiting to break through there too. If the car has sentimental value to you then yes its worth it. But if its just to fix up and drive and not modify/restore, then you probably won't get back the money you spend on the work to fix it when you come to sell it. There are lots of nice condition 1.4's and 1.5's out there for sale at cheap prices with low miles, so probably better spending your cash on one of those.

Amazing how to guide mate! This is what Civic5 was always about, members creating guides like this when doing jobs on their cars. Love the photos and also the tips. If its OK with you, I'll copy this and put it into a word doc format and add it to our how to guides? Mega useful guide and so well done! PS: I'll be using this guide soon on DD's callipers! Just saved me a Bella lot of research and headaches!

190bhp will be nice mate, be good to see it on a RR when done to see what output the mods have achieved. I thought you night have continued the blue theme in the engine bay? Or is the red for a contrast?
