Diagnostic help (need a connector to read the 5 + 2 pin's)
KiNK43 replied to frunkster's question in SOS! Help!!
Of course it's worth a go if that's what you want to do you may have better luck than me. But I've been there done that with these adaptors and using an obd reader. Just doesn't seem to work. I assume honda have a specific tool for the obd1 cars. Can use the bridge method of course. -

Holy smokes what a nightmare mate. Easily done I'd imagine but still.

Love it. I had one of the first jazz as a daily for a bit and I loved it tbh. Was great.

I know. Irritates me. Just about money. Would much prefer if he sticks a grand on the price and sells the car on for someone to enjoy.

You sell to a breaker? :(

Hondavert still available through dynodaze. Apparently a little more expensive than they were due to certain situations.

Progress being made. Slowly but surely. Piston rings are gapped. Horrible tedious job. Assembled the pistons and rods. Get some brake cleaner tomorrow to just go over the block once again then can start assembling it.

Well I suppose be wise to check the basics first. Plugs and fuel filter serviced etc?

Report back. Be Interesting to know if your hard starting issue is resolved.

Nightmare especially with prices how they are. Any thing you can save is a bonus. But I hate using it in either of mine. Absolute last resort

That looks like a really nice little car for the money. Well done. Try a liquid shoe polish like "kiwi" on the driver's seat will look mint after.

AHH poo! I really wanted to buy yours when I was looking. But you didn't seem quite ready to let go at the time. Sad time

Castle Combe last weekend. Nice day out for sure, loads of nice cars to check out. Fun track aswell really enjoyed it. My youngest lad is becoming a real petrol head which is nice. And loves taking pics too. He's took some fantastic shots, I'll have to put on Insta later.

Best off using EG kit Theres a few different styles of droplinks and sway bar diameters hence you'll have to get what your car requires. The only other difference is the bush on the rear arm for the shock absorber. It's narrower on mb than eg (it's the same as ek) However you will be able to cut the eg bush down to size. Or certain coilovers have a wider fork to accommodate either size bush.

Yes use either itr or eg. Only the sway bar bushes differ

The wheels are speedline chronos. The body kit is from mb6. But the VTiS model. Becoming difficult to find tbh.
