  3. Cheers Jamie - yes, they were the first ones I did. If you're thinking about it, make sure that you get bright LEDs, coz the first one I got were pretty dull and didn't show up the dials very well.
  4. thought it might have been the rocker cover, but doesn't look like it. I was wondering about the solenoid too... might as well change em both for the sake of it cheers dude
  5. cheers for the knob love guys! had Tubs with the friendly neighbourhood Honda tech for a few bits and bobs... track rod end (so it goes where it's supposed to in corners... which is nice); new(ish) rear calipers so the handbrake (and rear brakes generally) work again; new wheel bearing (to stop the shocking grinding noise); also swapped the rear number plate for a carbon effect one to match the front, coz the GB one I got from Halfords 2 years ago was fading! such a sad sight to see a fading plate... looks tatty imo. stuck on a "motorsport" ( ) twin horn... still sounds cheerfull, just with more balls! and waiting for a new o-ring for the dizzy, coz it looks like that's where my slight oil leak's coming from... not the head gasket... PHEW! getting the basics sorted ready for some more fun....
  6. looking sweet mate... good choice with those wheels too dunno how it'll b with the coilies, but I've got my front dampers set much firmer than the rear (konis)... massively helps with understeer
  7. looking sweet Davey boy how do you find the seats - is the design any different to the standard half leather / different bolster size etc. also what are they like in cold / hot weather?
  8. looks like you had great fun there fella did you have the track to yourself as well? no-one there to pile into the back of you...
  9. so I'm getting very aware about how hot my engine bay gets, and how all of my air intake parts are hot to the touch... so the first step is to get some flexible air duct from a hydroponics shop on ebay and hide some bits with it... I'll report back on if it makes much difference. 1"£££$££"!!
  10. love what you've done here mate - very different
  11. cheers Jake.. just feels nice palming it up into 3rd or 5th, or pulling it back down into 4th or 2nd.... mmmm gear changes....
  12. so the next thing to catch up on is the razo gear knob... love the feel of the finger grips on the front... all fits the hand really nice. spent ages pearing into the display case at halfords trying to decide which one i wanted. it's the little things that bring a bit of joy
  13. depending on finances I'm hoping to be getting a 4.785 final driven gear to clag onto the s9 box... so I'm gonna end up revving even higher oin 5th, so a longer 5th would be ace
  14. ohh.. I'd kill for another gear... or at least pay for one is there any compatable box with a longer 5th? diesels / accords?
  15. so I'm trying to catch up on all the little bits and bobs I've done over the years that I haven't really shown. this is the holder for my phone: i did this for my old nokia n96, but luckily my n900 fits a treat. i started by taking the clock out (used to just irritate me anyway... always used the clock on my headunit, but the dash clock would always end up reading a different time on it ) I got one of those phone holders with a bendy arm and a suction cup and removed the bendy arm and suction cup (it's actually a hybrid between a one from halfrauds with a spring release mechanism and an ebay one which had a ball joint type movable head... the discarded parts joined forces and went on ebay) I glued it into position with epoxy, and used some modelling plastic sheet to blank off the rest of the hole. then covered that with adhesive black vinyl. I use it with my nokia car kit which has a charger as part of it, so i left a hole for that and fed it through, so there isn't wires hanging all over the place. because i use it for streaming music to the headunit, it makes day to day life so much easier.. and is one of the favourite things I've done to the car. also useful for using the phone as a sat nav. 1"£££$££"!!
