I just ordered some ones off ebay.. Were pretty cheap and were the right size (or at least never noticed that they weren't right)

Looks like a fun day man

With the gear box mod 30 in 4th is about 2.2k, but in third it's just under 3k! I'd get loads of dodgy looks doing that Even more than usual.

Been done once years ago by a camera van but it was before the course was around. A guy from work has though and he actually found it quite useful. Kept trying to tell me that i should be in third gear in a 30 limit though. I was like do you know how many revs is be doing?

Excellent! We did a similar route a few years ago... Followed the rhine from holland, through Germany to Switzerland (briefly via France), then went on to Italy, Along the coast to cannes, then back up through France. Was excellent. Hope you enjoy it pal.

A little. I used the cable and bracket mentioned here but then struggled to see where to mount the bracket. I think that on gsr tegs people run it under the manifold, but I couldn't see how to do that. I had to put a bend in the bracket so that i could add it where it is in that pic above (using a longer screw / bolt). Needed a bit of tweaking in position to get it to pull right.

stevie's Mb2 hard decision to make
dr_broon replied to powerofdreams's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Don't remember seeing it done before. The first one looks like it might work. Second might be a bit much though? -
Just easier breathing as far as i know... Although from some a and b road fun today, I've suddenly started having pops and bangs on the overun. Think that i should have done an ecu reset though, coz at first it seemed to be running a bit lean and struggling on low revs and part throttle, but as the day's gone on it's improved. vtec then iabs seem more pronounced, and seems more lively at high revs.

So with the incoming of be mods, thought that i should at least get one i bought a while ago fitted. Dc2 throttle body installed. Position of the throttle cable needs tweaking though coz it is a bit sticky when letting the throttle off... Think that it's coz it's catching the bonnet.

In that case the evaporator is the least of your worries... You can whip that out by taking the glove box out.
