What a tiny tube! Compared to the inlet side of the dc2 air box... The bit of pipe to squeeze in to that hole.. Progress

For most of what you need to know for bseries gear ratios look here https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/temp/Bgears.htm&ved=0ahUKEwjMkqyS8IzOAhXmCMAKHfKjCM4QFggbMAA&usg=AFQjCNGZ6y6NRahoriA0XDCaanXxHEOU-Q And if you want aftermarket stuff, team mfactory have loads of options.

Yeah, that's not bad for a proper job like that. Cheers

Excellent. Would it be rude to ask how much it set you back?

In all seriousness, I do quite like minis.. The lad next door has one this colour and it looks smart.

Test fit of temporary intake hose. Hmmm For some reason the other pics won't upload @Dave It's a flexible bog pipe. Rubber end squeezes in real tight and fits a treat, even with the oval hole. Takes a bit of squeezing the pvc pipe into an oval shape, but it's bang on for size. Won't fit past the resonator though, so it's going to have to wait till the weekend for that to come out.

If nothing else, I'll be able to get my spanner back that fell into the resonator when I was fitting the throttle body

No, haven't got the dc2 one. Was reading loads of stuff last night, and tbh, there's so much conflicting views about the point of the resonator or not, that I'm leaning towards modding the resonator, but leaving it in. Basically putting a new pipe from the air box to the resonator.

I'm leaning towards that way of thinking as well. Either that or chopping the inner leg off the resonator and running a feed to that from the air box.

So I gave up on the ghetto breathing mod coz I've got no time to do anything hardly at the minute. I've but the bullet and got a dc2 intake and pipe. To be honest, been thinking about it since fitting the dc2 throttle body, and having to man handle the old intake pipe and stretch it over the throttle body. Sounds lovely now. Just need to get a bit of pipe to properly fit it to the resonator... Going to run it in reverse for now.
