I think I'd be losing the plot with the garage that did the welding mate, the fact the underseal is everywhere except on the chassis that is rotted they should have really spotted that, and to not do the jacking points when you'd already said.......I'd be raging! Especially with the amount of time they've had it! I gather that's all she failed on though? I mean, mk2 mx5's fail on their front chassis legs on a daily basis but even those can be replaced now so shouldn't be too bad to repair? Is that at the rear, looks like the handbrake cables in view?

FFS mate that's not good! Did the garage doing the welding not check her over fully for any more that might be needing done, I mean they've had her long enough! Absolute pia bud, I feel your pain. On the plus side, we can't really go out anywhere just now cos of this stupid lock down so suppose that kinda takes a bit of the sting out, but still, more work, more cash and more waiting.

From what I remember I think you need to drop the tank to get the pump out, no other access to it I'm afraid. I would check the fuel pump relays and also any fuses that are to do with the fuel side of things, and also that cutt off switch in the footwell/bottom of A-pillar (least I think that's where it was, been that long! Was there on my honda civic TypeR)
-
Have you checked the trip relay in the footwell? This is designed to cut off the fuel in the event of a bump/accident. They do sometimes get tripped.

Bloody hell, that's brightened up the interior mate! Two colours that Ive always thought went well together are blue and yellow. Liking that, looks pretty cool and deffo different!
-
Cheers Simon, just my ocd....hated the bit of plain black plastic showing around them when the vents and all that are chrome lol Fired her up today as I'd forgot to disconnect the battery, so was worried in case it had run flat. Been sitting there since Feb....turned the key...vrooom! Bloody love this wee car!! Just wish we could get her out in the sunshine, hate this lock down shit.

Not done a lot to Mindy lately, what with DD getting her suspension doe and winter wheels sorted. Decided that seeing as I'm stuck in the house cos of this bloody covid-19, though I might as well do some 'internet shopping! Soooooo, bought a wee part for the interior that I wanted to finish off the center console chrome. IL motorsport chrome hazard light/headlight pop up switch surround. Have to say, for a part from such a reputable company the fit was absolutely piss poor! There is s curvature to the switch panel that this piece simply did not have. No way the sticky pad that's on it would even try to hold the part in place, so I had to glue it and press really hard for ages to get the part to stay put! Got there in the end though and pleased how it now looks
-
Bloody hell, that looks ultra clean Stephen! Stunning example, and has to be one of my favourite colours on the civic M's (I am biased though!). Lovely civic mate and really nice mods. Oh, and

@The pizzabacker Excellent mate, looking forward to reading more about these two!

@The pizzabacker Vladimir an you confirm if the civic 5 door is also yours please? Oh, and get a topic started for your Aerodeck! Would love to see more of this one!
-
And the voting has started!!! Vote for the civic you'd like to see win!

TBH mate, mine on Ruby was the same. If it was a really icy bit of road, even doing 10mph the abs would go like crazy but the car would still be going forwards. ABS is crap on icy or really slippy roads.

Hi Tiago. 1st thing to see is our buyers guide >>>> https://civic5.com/forum/main-pages/honda-civic-buyers-guide/ Next, have a good look thought he forum as most things from faults to modifications and whats parts are interchangeable are all in the forum mate. MB3 is the 1.5cc D series (with VTEC-E) These are really great all round cars, still quite nippy speed wise, but give incredible fuel ecconomy . Quite a few MB3's in the club.

Any more entries for this? We also need the links to the two civics above so we can see the project/car topic.
-
Ouch that's not good!
-
Jeese, that's a big empty space with it all removed eh!
-
Not been up to much being on lockdown cos of this stupid covid19 nonsense. Did however decide I hated those black centre caps on DD's wheels so managed to track down a set of oem ones and fitted them today. Looks way better I think

It's never ending Jake, and always one bloody bolt to halt proceedings, but supose if all the jobs went smoothly it would soon get boring. The satisfaction you get when you finally get the offending bolt out and everything's back together is amazing.
