  1. Easy mate, in the nav bar, click on "support" then new. The support ticket will appear on the screen then it's just a case of selecting dept and filing out what the problem is.
  2. Are you getting an error message when trying to upload photos mate? Raise a wee support ticket with info on what's happening and I'll have a look. You should be able to upload pics no probs.
  3. My wee 1.4 auto was the most reliable car I've ever owned too mate. Passed every mot with flying colours, never broke down and apart from regular services and at most brake pads/shoes, never had to spend money fixing it either! Loved that wee car!
  4. Liking that, the wee blue radiator bracket looks same as ones i have on DD. Tubs is looking gooood!

That's excellent news mate! Nothing better than the sound from a new head unit!! Pop up a picture of that wiring diagram if you can mate, would be useful for other members too. Ps,: going to clear out the crap in my garage, can't find the Haynes manual!!!
  6. Doesn't look bad at all, although in the second pic is that the jacking point to the right side of the pic? If it is, probably why the failed it. Give it a good prod about with a hammer, see if it goes through. If it doesn't get rust treatment stuff on it then underseal it mate. Seen a hella lot worse than that!! Do the same with pass side to save it. Whatie vti decks are getting really rare, same with the mb6 hatch in white.
  7. @Ashley meekings Moved this to the lounge mate as the SOS is for faults etc. Any pics of the rust? Know they are tending to go in that area now, but a member recently posted up photos of severe rust on his (was rear wheel arch/inner arch, door step and sill) which looked horrendous but he managed to get it welded for I think £190 all in. Might be worth getting a few quotes first as it might not be as expensive as you think to repair her. The other faults are just bolt on items so easy enough to buy replace (probs the master cylinder being the trickiest) Photos of the rust failure will let us have a better idea of the condition of the car. Aerodecks are popular, and seeing fewer and fewer on the roads nowadays. The VTi is always desirable so shouldn't have any probs selling wise as long as someone is prepared to put in the work to fix it. You got a link to your project thread topic so folks can see the car? Once you get an idea of values, pop an ad up in our for sale section bud.
  8. Wow! Both looking amazing mate! Love the way you've went with the deck, much better than your other civics mate (although they were cool in their own way!) Just think this looks spot on. Your mates MB is sweet too, the silver bonnet/blue bodywork reminds me of my old MA8 civic (blue Betty) when I had the white bonnet/blue bodywork. Those rims on the hatch are awesome!

No worries. You'll love the difference the new head unit makes to the sound quality, although it'll really make you want ot change the rear speakers as they are totally crap and really weak! Hard to get decent speakers to fit the actual rear speaker enclosure though so some folk just opt to drop them into the rear parcel shelf. That way you can have any size in there. My first Civic M (1996 MA8) came with no rear speakers, so at first I got some original speakers from a breakers and fitted them, then found out how poor they were!! lol I couldn't get decent ones small enough to fit where the originals were, but made up some adapters that fitted to the original rear speaker grills that then allowed me to fit slightly larger ones which sounded better. To be honest though, the place where they are fitted as standard is bad, so I'd probably just fit them in the shelf.

no probs at all mate. There is one Haynes manual for the civic M's which covers all models from 1995 (pre-facelift) to 2000. The wiring in the pre-facelift is slightly different to the facelift models. I'm sure in my Haynes book there were a few different diagrams covering the radio side of things, and it should state what year or model the wiring refers to. I've got the manual in my garage but i'm away until Sunday. If you can hang off till then I'll dig it outr and have a look through. Can take a picture of them and upload them here for you.

Ok, checked the service manual and it doesn't cover the wiring for the radio. Best bet will be the Haynes manual mate.

Ah, ok that shouldn't be a problem then. Did you say the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual didn't correspond to the wiring in your civic (in the other topic)? Make sure you check what diagram the manual is showing because from what I can remember there are differences between models/years in the manual. Make sure the diagram your looking at is for the correct model or year. The colours of the cars wires won't match those of the head unit as wiring colours have changed a lot since our cars were made, but once the cars wiring has been established it'll be easy to wire up. I'll see what I can find just now in our service manual.

Just saw your link to the head unit in the other topic mate. Can see the problem you're having now. The new head unit witing doesn't actually have a socket on the end, just bare wires which is really unusual nowadays. Unless you cut the plug off your exisiting wiring in the car (which I really wouldn't recommend) and hard wire it it will mean buying an wiring harness adapter for the civic and then unless your good with soldering, cutting the end that goes to the stereo off and hard wiring that to the harness. This will mean you don't have to cut the plug off the cars wiring. Probably the best option I think, as if you come to sell the car you can then just plug the original head unit back in, no messy wiring left. If we can get the wiring codes, it's not that hard to wire up. Deffo buy a wiring harness adapter though!
  14. Ah, I replied about the wiring in the other thread in SOS, Can see the problem now. So the plug from the head unit doesn't have a socket actually fitted to it where you would just normally plug in the wiring harness adapter?
  15. Glad you saved her mate, and for £190 that's a decent price even if it only lasted a year. Got any pics of the finished work?

I've got a haynes manual in the garage mate but won't be able to get to it until Sunday afternoon. Can see what's in there. Does the downloadable service manual we have here in the forum not have the wiring diagrams in it? If you get the harness adapter from halfords it should all be plug and play mate, unless it's already had it's wiring plugs cut off?
  17. Damn, sad to see this one go mate. One cracking Accord. Yeah, we're gonna run a sweep stake on how many days before hes back in a Honda! Lol
  18. Sorry but rather than film them id have been out there ending them. Only way to deal with this scum. Hope they take a baseball bat to them if they return! Looks a tiday wee civic that too.
  19. Best thing you'll ever get fitted mate! Makes cleaning the cars so much easier. We've got the hose plugged n permanent and ran it round to the garage so waters always there on tap (see wot I did there! )
  20. Lol for "accidentally" see "on purpose" ! Lol
  21. UPDATE: Our SSL is now configured and installed (hate setting these things up! ) Whole site is now fully secure. You shouldn't see any more messages regarding security/problems with site security. If you do, let me know either via pm or via support ticket. We're good to go! Dave
  22. Lol yes, it's ok chaps. I already bought the new certificate on Friday but can't install it until today. I'll get this done tonight, but in the meantime it's safe to browse the forum. The warning message is just standard issue message. Dave
