  1. LMAO! class! Liking the gold on the alloys mate, think it suits it well!
  2. Congrats to Hondasport, this month's worthy winner! I'll get the home page changed tonight
  3. Someones been busy! Great news on the MOT, always a worrying time! Now you can spend more money modding seeing she doesn't need owt for MOT
  4. I've got exactly the same problem with one bolt on the Decks rocker cover mate. Think the only way to get it out is to drill a small hole in the top of the remaining bit of bolt, then try and use a stud extractor of the right size to remove it from the block. I've not tried it yet, might even put it into a garage to be done just to be safe.
  5. There ya go, detention for the two of ya right there! lmao
  6. Hi Jake. The link problem is a fault with photobucket. They have changed the links used to display images on this type of forum software, but we have instructions on this here mate >>>>> Follow those simple wee steps and the photos will appear as normal bud Thanks @Chandler for letting me know mate
  7. @powerofdreams Pay attention at the back of the class now! lmao
  8. lol had to come home from college after first class (i get 3 hours off!) as I'd forgot to take the college parking permit out of Roxy and put it in DD! Didn't fancy a parking ticket! Came home, photocopied Roxy's permit, laminated the copy, stuck it in DD! now they have one each and I won't get a ticket! Was a beautiful sunny day when I drove to college, went for lunch with Gayle....................and it was bloody snowing! wtf!! The weather up here is mad at the moment, 4 seasons in one day! Back to nice and sunny again.........need to wash DD now!
  9. lol Doh! Yes mate, MC2. Didn't know the EK9 ones were thicker, see, learn something new every day!
  10. Not done anything to DD in a while as she's been tucked up in the garage. But have been using her the last few days and man, I've missed driving this!! Gayle and me have decided that it's time she saw a bit more of the road, so will be using her from now through most of the summer until September and putting Roxy in the garage for the time being. She's done around 900 miles since her mot a year ago! Time to get some miles under her belt! Did adjust the rear suspension stiffness today. We'd stiffened it up during the last meet (St Marys Loch) as she was bottoming out over the single track roads, so turned the buttons up front and back. The front has been fine, but I felt the rear had been adjusted a tad to far so truned her back two clicks on the rear today which has made all the difference. Still got to get a rear ABS sensor and get that fitted in time for her MOT next month. Having to buy one brand new from Honda as can't locate the right one second hand which is a pain. Done around 200 miles in her the last 3 days, and she never misses a beat! Found the new digital multi display I got ages ago that I'm gonna fit in place of the oem clock so gonna get the wiring for that figured out and get it fitted. Also going to get the side skirts and rear lip resprayed and finally fitted to her, then maybe look at getting her fully resprayed once she comes off the road again in September (depends on funds!). Loving driving her again!
  11. @UnicyclingTom lol he has indeed! Has a lot going on at the moment though He'll be back! lmao
  12. Oh, one things is decided! When we do eventually sell Roxy, she will deffo be getting replaced with either an A3 Quattro S-Line or the TT Quattro S-Line. Decided I'm deffo not buying another Honda as I'm a bit disappointed with the newer ones tbh. Not a patch on our older Civics.
  13. Still not done anything much to her lately, but have removed the HKS RSX induction kit and reverted back to OEM filter box. She was going in for a service at Honda so though if I'm paying for a new air filter, I want one bloody fitted! lol Decided not to refit the HKS, as I'm at a stage now where I prefer her to be OEM. The noise was amazing, and addictive which was part of the problem! Because it sounded so sweet, every time I drove it I would be holding the revs just to hear it, so constantly in VTEC! lol Had a really bad effect on fuel consumption, to the point I was struggling to finance the fuel tanker behind me! Lucky if I was getting 250 miles out of a tank, so decided that reverting back to standard would probably change my driving habits! Posted the HKS up on Civinfo, and had it sold literally 15 mins later! These things are mega popular! So HKS is now gone. In other news, it was pretty close to the wire for Roxy being traded in! I took a fancy to an Audi TT Quattro TD S-Line! Was a 60 plate, and looking at the specs was what had me interested. The 0-60 mph time is around 7.5 secs, so only roughly a second off the pace of the TypeR! But it returns (if not canning it!) 60mpg! Road tax £130 compared to TypeR's £295, and it was really comfortable to be in. No harsh suspension, although being the S-LIne it has slightly lowered and uprated suspension. Handled great too! But we eventually decided against it. Money wise, was going to be losing out big time on Roxy (managed to get the garage up from 5 and a half grand trade in up to 7 grand (I should have been in cars sales!!) but still had around 6 grand to find to get the TT. Wasn't gonna be worth it. So we decided today that Roxy will stay, and she's going to be getting a set of 17' after market wheels (not sure which yet) to make her a bit better for the daily drive. The 19's will get sold. Might be going ahead with the MeisterR's after all! We will see.
  14. Cars looking sweet mate! Fairly coming on with that bridge eh! Not been over that way for a while, looks like it's gonna be finished soon. They reckon they'll finish it well ahead of schedule too!
  15. Couldn't agree more Simon! C'mon Dave, get yer finger out and get some photos up of her!!
  16. Thanks to all for Civic5's birthday wishes! Great to see we're still going strong 7 years later, with a lot of the original members and a lot of new members too! Here's to the next 7 years guys!!
  17. lol seems like a lifetime ago mate! Can still remember sitting there with Dawn, Diane, Paul and Adam at the meet point thinking damn, nobodies gonna show! Next thing all these sweet M's started arriving! Was amazing! First time I met you and Simon too! Still remember you're phone call when you got lost on the way! lmao!!! How you ended up in that scheme I'll never know!!
  18. Wow! the wheels look like brand new! Going to look sweet with those fitted mate. Think the EK9 strut brace is the same as the oem MB6/MC1 strut brace?
  19. Dave

Just saw this in the metal for the first time today, looks really clean!
  20. Wow! nice list of parts! Best thing you'll ever buy is those MeisterR's mate! Can't wait to see those fitted! Wish i could see your face the first time you take her for a drive with those fitted cos it's like driving a totally different car! Did you buy them through the forum? She's going to be one sweet MB3 with all the new bits, looking forward to seeing this!
