  2. Ok, this is to help anyone who might not know how to post photos on the web. Here's how to post pictures on this site. This How To is also used to display an image in your signature (the bit underneath all our posts) To change your sig, go to the top right of the page, click your username to see the dropdown menu, and select "Account settings". You will then see a new page, and on the left side, a menus bar. Fifth one down is "signature". Click on it, and you will see a box where you can fill in what you want in your signature. If you want a photo in it, click the "Choose files" button and choose a photo from your pc/device. Once it has uploaded the photo, click the small "add" symbol on the photo and it will add it to your signature. You can also use photos hosted elsewhere such as photobucket. To use one of these, visit your image on photobucket etc and copy the url of the image. Paste the url into the signature box. Now click "save changes" and you're done! Please note, maximum size of sigs are 600 x 100px NOTE: For photobucket images, you need to use the "direct link" option on photobucket. Dave
  3. FAO iPHONE & iPAD users in order for your photos to display the correct way round in the forum, please use this simple guide when taking photos with iPhone/iPads. Using the normal camera function (ie: rear camera) make sure the bottom of the iPhone/buttons on the iPad are on the RIGHT side. If using the front camera (selfie photos), make sure the bottom of the iPhone/buttons on the iPad are on the LEFT side. This is because iPhone/Ipad camera software doesn't put the image orientation info into the photo (mistake/oversight on MS part) meaning the forum software can't tell which way up the photo is meant to be.Taking photos using our method above ensures the photos are displayed the correct way round. Correct way : Bottom of iPhone/Buttons on iPad to the right Any other way (incorrect display will occur)

    sun roof!

It could be the mechanism for opening it fully is jammed/ faulty, or the motor may be on its way out. If I remember rightly, if you remove the plastic casing around the interior light/sunroof switches, there is a bit for opening it manually? This will allow you to check the mechanism for anything obviously wrong. Or it might even work once its been opened manually, have seen this happen before.
  5. lol its all luck as to what stickers are sent out chaps. The newest ones are slightly smaller (well the www. and the .com bits are) and I think go on the inside of the glass. Not got many left now so will probs be ordering more soon. Not sure if our usual supplier is still in business though, so will need to speak to Dave and Sarah to see if he is. Also might be looking at getting a vinyl plotter, and using it to make our own civic5 stickers and other designs. Depends on price/demand
  6. I should have a set of switches in stock for the centre arm rest bit mate. Will check and see whats there
  7. Excellent! Glad thats sorted that out mate, and easy peasy to replace the switch! If you need a new one (they can sometimes be hard to find being the twin fogs (front / rear) switch, I've got a few in stock. Just pm me if you need any
  8. Yes deffo means sure/possitive lol If not power at the fogs then will most probably be one of those relays. Before you go and buy new ones though, check the wiring harness from the fogs up to the inner wing.Theres a connector just to the front of the strut. It plugs into another harness there that takes it into the cabin. If you can, get some wire and use it (along with a multimeter) to check for any breaks in that harness. It can also be dirty/corroded terminals/plugs in that wiring harness too, but easy to check as it's quite a small harness. Whereas most other manufacturers run one harness from the front of the car into the cabin, we're quite lucky with the civic M's in that the fog light harness comes in three parts
  9. If I remember rightly there are two relays for the front fogs mate. One is located in the dash on the drivers side, near the "A" post I think, and one is on or near the fusebox (inside the car). Either of those could be your fault. Are you deffo getting power at the plugs that go into the fog lights? If so, it could well be a relay thats gone. PS: someone please correct if I'm wrong about the relays please! I retro fitted front fogs to my old MA8 and I'm possitive I added 2 relays that came with the OEM wiring harness'
  10. Ultimately the best mod ever to the MA/MB/MC civics has to be the MeisterR's mate. Totally transform the car! Looking forward to seeing the progress pics!
  11. Got mine today too Mae, looks tops! Thank you
  12. Love the new wheels mate, loved the old ones too but these are much better. Does look a bit like DD's twin lol. The details on your deck are just superb mate, makes the whole car a top package. I got to get busy with Dr now, so much to do!
  13. Will deffo be replacing with honda OEM bushes. Thinking about getting new trailing arms, which I can paint or powder coat before they are fitted. Will be my start on detailing the underside of the car Painter hasn't got back to me with a price for full respray yet, so undecided if she's going there or if I'm going to do it myself. Massive job, but the rewards for doing it myself would be huge.
  14. Well, trip to rjm was good, she drove spot on as always. Exhaust check was perfect, and got her a full service inc all filters, spark plugs etc. They also gave her a full check from front to back and discovered the following..... Poss leak from the power steering rack. Rear LCA bush slightly perished Brake fluid needing changed soon. So, the power steering leak. Chris said it looked small signs of power steering fluid around the rack, but no trace of any leaks. There hasn't been any signs of fluids on the garage floor at home, and the fluid was still up to the mark, so hadn't lost any! I eventually realised it must be from when I cleaned the engine bay for japfest last year.....I used gunk, but found I couldn't get down behind the rack to clean, so its obviously the residue from me rinsing the gunk off. Thank feck! The LCA I knew about, as it happened when we were trying to get the bolt out to fit the Meister's. We had to heat the bolt, which melted the rubber slightly. They said it won't fail the not, just an advisory, but I'm getting it changed anyways as can't have her having any faults whatsoever! The brake fluid will be getting flushed and renewed at her not this month, so that means all poss faults sorted. So health check wise, she's in excellent health! I've now started the refurb on her original rocker cover (the purple one was just a temp replacement for japfest that I bought, but tbh, the paint finish isn't up to my standard! So have stripped her original cover back to bare metal, and have metal polished the "honda" lettering so it now looks like chrome. Plan is to respary it (masking the polished bit) in Orleans blue, and add a metalflake to the Lacquer. Also planning to do some airbrushing on it too. Or other plan is to send it away to be chrome plated. Or third option is to have it powder coated, as my guy that does that has a new chrome finish powder coat. Also awaiting a quote for a full bare metal respray! Quote for just the bonnet, front lip and blending into front wings was £600! Think that's a tad high, although have seen 2 cars (Jensen interceptor and escort cosworth) that the guy has done and they were flawless. He's been a spray painter for over 30 years and comes highly recommended so might just bite the bullet. Or if I ever get this bloody unit, I'll respray her myself. Her original paintwork is actually really good apart from the stone chips on the bonnet, but I want her perfect in every single way! I'm just fussy about her, like dawn was! Lol
  15. Nice to see someone getting custom civic m stuff made. These look really good! I'll have one Mae. Payment sent
  16. DD all taxed agin for the next 6 months. Weather still a hit or miss here though (actually had snowflakes falling today!) so she's staying in the garage for now, although she'll be out next week for a trip up to RJM performance to get her yearly check done on the exhaust to keep the warranty up. Might get her serviced at the same time. Working on her new rocker cover at the moment, so hopefully have that done soon!
  17. For replacement rubber garnishes second hand, best bet is to find the newest Rover 45 in the breakers that you can find, and get them from that. Most second hand MA/MB/MC ones will be in poor condition by now, so the Rover (being newer) is your best bet. Be really careful trying to get them off the car though, as they can be a nightmare to remove without damaging them. Can't believe the price Honda charge for these brand new, it's a sin! Hope this helps.
  18. Love the new wheels, suit the car so well! And cracking photos! This just has to be "The most perfect 1.6SR MB1" She looks absolutely stunning Mae. lol @ the matching sunglasses!
  19. lol @ Mr Brown! Looking to get a meet organised very soon chaps, had quite a few members asking when the next one is so will try and get this done soon! Had Jim out in Roxy yesterday, but didnt tell him she had this kit fitted! Told him a fib saying "need you to drive the car while I look for to see where this strange noise is coming from!" lol We drove a few miles normal driving (so no noise!) then I said to him, ok floor it. The look on his face when she started to sing was priceless!! he was like "wtf!!!" I said "there! Thats that noise i was telling you about!" lol Even he said she feels a lot more responsive now, and quicker. We went and found a wee bridge to go under just to hear the noise echo (yeah, sad i know!) lol And had Paul out in her last night, he too loved the sound she makes now.. Alls good in Roxy's world!
  20. Ohhhhh yes! She sounds epic! Be good to see you again mr B, welcome anytime mate
  21. Well, fitted it when I got home yesterday! Was a fiddly job to say the least, but the kit is specific to the car so everything fits superbly. Took it for a test drive.......and holy crap it sounds insane! Totally quiet normal driving, but gun it and when VTEC engages, its like she's growling! Sounds really aggressive! Lol Roxy you naughty girl! Cleans up the engine bay nicely, and gives her some bling! Its the one thing that I've been missing since Ruby left, the noise! At last Roxy has her voice, and bloody hell can she sing!
