Lol yes, it's ok chaps. I already bought the new certificate on Friday but can't install it until today. I'll get this done tonight, but in the meantime it's safe to browse the forum. The warning message is just standard issue message. Dave

Loving that! What insert have you got, is it painted? Doesn't look like the usual fake wood/carbon? Really liking the red detail trim around the whole panel, really updates the look of the dash and looks more up to date. Goes well with the S-Wagon decal mate!

Wow, crash looks severe mate, although these fk/fn civics are designed to basically self destruct in a crash which softens the impact for the occupants. I ran into the rear of another car in my fn2 and thought it was totalled, really low speed crash too. But the chassis was perfect so got repaired. Only injury was I had a sore knee for a day so far did its job of protecting. The deck looks clean, nice base to start modding! Can't beat the old B18, really sweet engines!

Hate when tossers do that to your car mate. The electric mirrors from any mb/mc civic will fit straight on, all have the same wiring connectors. Hope this helps.

If the car is left for say a couple of days how does it feel trying to select reverse? Difference in how it works when cold compared to warm/hot might indicate the oil needs changed as said above. Think though that the fact it has went in easier today without anything being done to the car suggests it more than likely is just needing bled. Could be any trapped air in the system has moved a bit making it easier to engage. So bleeding clutch, checking/changing oil along with checking the linkage/adjusting the linkage will I think solve the problems mate. Know if the linkage is even fractionally out it makes gear selection difficult. If the above doesn't cure it, then possible thrust bearing (although our would hear noise from that).

Is this repairable? If so, what on earth do I do?

Does look pretty severe mate. However, the mb6's are getting harder to find now (for a decent one anyways) so if it's coming in around the £300/£400 mark then I'd deffo have it repaired. If the other side is the same though, that may be a game changer. If you can, get the car on a ramp and give it a good look over to see if rust has got hold anywhere else. New sills are available as are wheel arch repair sections (as said above look for Rover repair panels). Not sure if the actual doorstep panel is still available but a good welder can soon weld that up back into shape. Will need inner sill repaired, rear inner wing repaired, new sill and door step section repaired. Then treated so any remaining rust is cured, and painted. -
Does that mean I get another go? For comparison reasons of course! lol

Mine had 13.000 miles on it when I bought it (was a 2011 model) and was at 23.000 when I sold it a year later for the TypeR. Looking back, was a really dumb thing to do as the typeR was older (2008) and had I think 42.000 miles on it. Not my best idea but head was in a bad place back then and needed a distraction (big distraction! lol)

Wow how she has changed! Lol I love seeing photos of DD and ruby when we first got them. All BOGO standard but mint! Still got DD'S original suspension and 14 inch alloys (god they look tiny!) Incase I want to put her back to OEM.
