  1. That last pic is quality! Sits just right and looks sweet!
  2. What a result mate! Saw Dynodaze had posted it up on their page, thought " I recognise that civic!" lol Beautiful car that has it all.......the looks....the stealth......the quality....the power!
  3. Haha, that's brilliant news! Vtec all the way to happiness! Is that the wee vtec solenoid that you replaced or am I thinking of something else? Think they have a wee filter in them too? Tubs is looking awesome mate! Time I got my arse into gear and get DD back on the road!

Haha, long time no see @Chief! Good to see you back and even better to see you've still got the Aerodeck mate! Know the feeling with leaving them for ages untouched and unloved. The MOT ran out on DD way back in October last year, hasn't been on the road since. She had an ABS fault that was a pain to sort (jury is still out on whether the light will stay off, not been out to test drive her yet!) and also a leak that keeps soaking the front top right corner of the headlining, to the point I too am gonna have to take the whole lining out to A) find the bloody leak! and B) get the lining stuck to the board again. I've checked and sealed all around the windscreen, had the roof rails and gutter trim all off and seam sealed the whole length of the gutter both sides, checked the sunroof seals and door seals, nada! Still it finds a way in! So got my work cut out as want her back on the road asap. Feel guilty seeing her lying there in the garage (still on axle stands!) all neglected. Yours will deffo rise again! Was mint before you took her off the road, and once you fix the little faults she'll be right as rain again. That photo of the brake disc tho!!!! lmao Keep us updated mate, looking forward to seeing more of this!
  5. Weird how I don't like estates without roof rails lol should be on every estate! Looks like you're getting there mate after the "cough" incident! Lol
  6. She actually looks pretty decent underneath. Following your work in this one!
  7. It's showing as right rear sensor. I've fitted a new one but it then threw both rrs and lrs so thinking it's maybe the wiring at the rear. Not sure what the voltage is meant to be from the plugs where the sensors plug in at the rear? Think when I tested it was showing 4.7v?
  8. Nice! So many well thought out mods on this one.
  9. Stunning MB mate, love these in white. What happened to the deep dish wheels you had on her?
  10. I mean.....that's just pure Honda porn right there! Looks amazing, did she have the 1000cc injectors before? If not have they took powerup much?
  11. Yes mate, been feeling guilty as DD has been sitting there all neglected since her MOT ran out last year so wanting to get stuck in and give her some tlc. The ABS chase should be "fun"! lol Hows the mb6 doing?

    Ecu Fried?

Not sure mate as not sure what wire you tapped into/ changed the feed too? Did any fuses pop (both in the interior fuse box and the one in the engine bay)? Did you here anything pop/get any burning/smoke?
  14. Christ, been a while since I updated this! As of yesterday, DD is back up on axle stands awaiting me venturing under her to get to the bottom of the fault. Also want to get the drill with wire brush onto the rear floor to remove surface rust then get stuck in with the underseal. Also got some satin black paint for the suspension arms etc and some silver VHT for the calipers/brake parts. Got some switch cleaner so going to spray that into the plug/socket where the abs sensor plugs into above the rear axle beam. Think that will be the place to start to try and trace where the possible break in connection could be. Hopefully won't take too much time to find the fault. Plan is to get her rwady for MLOT in the next couple of weeks as I really want hr back on the road. Then in May it'll be Poppy's turn for MOT, 2nd one we will have put her through. She's been behaving impeccably since getting all her issues sorted (including a new windscreen!) so hoping she doesn't have any issues at mot. Hopefully start work on DD this weekend coming as choked with a cold just now. Will get some pics if I can.

Company are possibly still closed for the new year hols (or possibly don't know the answer! lol). Is it a 2.5 inch system?
  16. Wow! That makes y battery isolator look pants! I've just got the one that replaces the terminal with one with a thumbscrew that you can take out which disconnects the terminal. I take it you've got that one hooked up on the live side? Think mine is on the earth although could be wrong. As a heads up, even with the battery disconnected, DD's battery still looses charge. Did a bit of research and although disconnecting it does slow down how quickly it goes flat (mine was same, 2 weeks top to a totally flat battery) the battery will still eventually go flat. Just the way they are designed. I've went an bought a battery trickle charger/conditioner which supposedly keeps the battery in good health and stops it going flat. Haven't wired it up yet but will need to do it soon to see if it makes a difference. MINI battery is going the same way, although she does last a bit longer than 2 weeks lol.
  17. Haha, one of the most common jobs on these Civics lol Glad to see you've got it done. Makes such a difference having all the fan speeds and not just one or two of them. Nice to see your restoring her, I've kind of went full circle with my Aerodeck in that she was modded then turned into a show car (as respect to my late wife who's car it was) but have slowly returned her back to standard-ish spec. Gone is the lowered suspension etc, so she now rides a lot better and is more useable. Really needing to get stuck into her underside and get that all cleaned up and re-undersealed. It's a never ending job with these lol
  18. @JoeD Lovely looking Civic mate. The early pre facelift Civic M's like yours are getting really rare now so nice to see one with low miles that's been well kept. I had this very model as my first Civic M (mine was an auto though) and loved it. Got a build thread in the forum although some photos missing due to them being on photobucket so will need to update it. Look for "Blue Betty". You'll find some parts are also shared with the 1995 to 1997 Rover 400. Keep us updated bud and any help you need just give us a shout.
