    ABS Problem

Abs is a bit of a nightmare on these cars. @Dave had loads of fun trying to track down a problem on his - can't quite remember the symptoms or the fix though. Just wondering, is the Spanish manual for the m civics? Not sure if the codes are different for m's compared to other hondas at the time.
  2. If you want to try and get a bit more comfort about part numbers, might be worth looking here to pin down your model... https://www.parts-honda.uk/honda-cars/CIVIC-AERODECK These civics are a bit odd when it comes to parts unfortunately. As far as the brakes goes, the calipers are a bit of a weak point as they do tend to seize, though you can pick them up relatively cheaply on ebay now.
  3. Might have to give that a try myself... Mine vibrates at motorway speed, and I've got stiff bushings too
  4. Hi George, welcome along. That's a nice looking MA I don't think I've seen one that colour before.. Really like it.
  5. Edit... Just found that speed factory do one but it's about 150 notes. https://www.tegiwa.com/products/speedfactory-racing-obd1-obd2a-ecu-jumper-harness
  6. Finally made a bit of progress with an ecu.. Found a p28 with hondata s300 already installed on ebay for a few hundred quid and snapped it up. Didn't clock though at the time that it's been adapted (by hondata by the look of it) to have. Obd2a connectors on it ๐Ÿคฆ Of course, it should look like this.. Now I don't seem to be able to find a conversion harness the right way around, probably because noone would have a need to fit an odb2 ecu into an odb1 car... So I'm back to needing someone to do some electronic wizardry with a soldering iron, but this time to swap the connector from my dead p28 to this new one. ๐Ÿค”
  7. Is this your fn2 Jake? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305673838779?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=wWcPmaXYRv6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=VPkI41u3Sse&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=MORE
  8. Hope you had a good day boss. The weather held up this side of the border ๐Ÿ˜Š
  9. Not mine... Looks clean from the photos https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266868581761?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=hV4OwS1ISwC&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=VPkI41u3Sse&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  10. They're not on my archive box spreadsheets (I know... Sad ๐Ÿ˜‚) but the boxes went up a long time before I gave up on trying to fix the snapped one. It might be a long shot, but you never know
  11. That's looks a lot better than it did mate. Just had a thought.. I don't want to get your hopes up too much, but there's a good chance I've still got the driver side headlight protector from when I bought a pair and the passenger side cracked in transit. I need to put some stuff in the loft at some point, so I'll try and remember to look. Can't remember if I got shot of it or not.
  12. That sucks mate, especially the headlight protectors. Glad you got sorted with the bumper and stuff though. I don't suppose there was another headlight washer at the place you got yours?... You need a louder exhaust so the wildlife hears you coming ๐Ÿ˜
  13. Like the bonnet in blue mate, looks slick
  14. Think they do it free as its their venue, with a pub / wedding venue, and bit of publcity for their restoration business / car sales - on a Thursday night so probably doesn't cost them much apart from time, and brings them a bit of business in when it might be quiet. Win win.
  15. Looking sweet, and congrats on the baby mate ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Remembered that @Mickg fitted some big fogs.. There's some pics on his thread here (and on the next pages) - including one of the bracket in place. Might help
