Getting it mapped to suit your current setup would probably be worth looking into (though don't think the p73 can be chipped?) .. Not sure how the skunk cams compare to the itr ones in terms of behaviour so could get done gains from that. Didn't realise you could run a p73 on a b18c4 - guess that's with you swapping the inlet mani as well? How do you find it? Any issues?

I'm sure that I've seen a comparison somewhere on the differences with the dc2 engine, but can't remember where... Might have just been a reply to a comment or something - I'm sure there'll be something online comparing the gsr engine to a jdm dc2 one though. Off the top of my head though you're looking at pistons, crankshaft, better flowing head (I'm sure that the type r ones were hand finished), valve springs, and probably more. I'd have said a custom map as well to bake sure it's working best for your setup Jake @KiNK43 is your man here though as he just built a beast of an engine even without the turbo.
  3. Looks great mate. Nice to see a deck this colour.. Been a while since there's been one here.
  4. Looks mint. Proper sleeper! Was reading about the engine yesterday - sounds like a clever bit of kit and a bit of a beast. Bet you can surprise a few folk with that Interior looks cool.. Is it just me or does the wheel look like the mb one. I hadn't spotted that the top part of the radio was climate control - thought that whole unit would be able to swap out. It's always a good opportunity to have some old tunes on though - one reason I keep my minidisc
  5. Looks good mate - sits really nice. Interior looks pretty cool as well - Honda and Toyota definitely used to have the same design approach for the interior ey. Looks like a nice easy double din option though compared to what Mr Honda normally serves up. Also, are they patterned floor mats? Never seen that before.
  6. Looks tidy mate. The work to the suspension will definitely make a difference - it'll feel like a new car!
  7. Don't blame you to be fair mate, it's like that place that first had a bodge at welding Tubs up.. Was foaming, but knew that trying to take it further with them would just cause grief and wind me up more. Sometimes it's best to just move on. Lol about the bird! Has it stopped it's crapping with the other mirrors on?
  8. Looks like a good job on the windscreen area.. Like watching this one coming back to life. There's a crazy low amount of VTI left now. They need to be saved..
  9. Good that you've found a garage that you're happy with mate... Did you ever get any joy after that last bit of bother you had? Nice pic at the end there
  10. The wagons are cool - I bet there's a gt car there just under the surface.
  11. Hope that you've got to the bottom of the abs problem.. They're a right menace. Good plans for the underside as well, got to keep the tin worm well away from that deck!
  12. Have you got a copy of the Honda workshop manual from the downloads section? All of the torque settings should be in there.
  13. About injectors, so I'm not sure about the b series ones, but k series injectors have plastic filters in which disintegrate when using E10 fuel. We had to get them serviced on my wife's K24 accord. One was throwing a missfire fault because of being blocked with the bits of plastic, but after sorting that one it still wasn't running right because the others were on the way to going bad.
  14. Alright Chief, glad to see you've still got the deck. That caliper must have been properly stuck! Fair play for getting stuck back into it, and amazing find for the brand new mid spoiler!
  15. Saw a nice one of these recently slammed... Thought it was an ep3 at first when it was coming towards me. Looks good with the bumper swaps.
  16. Been looking here (thinking of importing am odyssey) https://www.japanesecartrade.com/ Also seen here recently https://www.beforward.jp/fr/
  17. Seen some nice crowns when looking on jap import sites - love the look of the wagons. I bet its easier to squeeze some power out of them is it?
  18. I bet it will. Had a feeling you would be going Toyota - what you thinking? Have you still got the hilux and the alphard?
  19. Hope it's going to a good home mate - you should be proud of what you've created with that car. Touch of class. Are you planning on staying jap with the next car?
  20. No, it's a little fella that's fixed to the vacuum vessel under the intake manifold - it's what dumps the vacuum that normally holds the IABs closed to make them open Driving it with them closed all the time, and then open all the time (with the vacuum hose disconnected) really shows how the iab system helps. When they're closed all the time, the power really drops off as the revs climb.. You're wanting to change gear by the time you reach 7k. When they're open all the time, there really is a loss of grunt before vtec is engaged. I know that some of that will be because of the ecu not being set up for those conditions, but a big chunk will be because of the long/short air path in the IM.
