  1. Any idea where the noise is coming from generally? Is it like a knock or does it keep rattling?
  2. Most things that I look for on lings nowadays says they're unavailable...
  3. I think that with silicon you're relying on the jubilee clip (or similar) to do all the work, whereas with rubber over time it starts to weld itself to the metal, so even if there's a problem with the seal from the clip, the fact that the rubber has joined forces with the metal will save the day. That said, there's plenty of people who've been running silicon hoses without any issues. I've got silicon ones on (for about 9 months I think) and so far so good.
  4. Not really I mentioned it because I spotted the induction kit... It's just that it's an extra bit of gubbins that's not needed anymore . I suppose taking it out might make a path for air to come into the engine bay, but likely to be such a small effect.
  5. Nice job Should've whipped out the resonator box while you had the bumper out
  6. Wow! That must be a whole heap of fun! Looks like it's in tip top nick as well.. Looking forward to seeing more of her

Looking good bud... Super low! Get yourself a build thread going so people can see all about it
  8. Top work with the grill mate.. Looks good. Think you were right to chop out as much as you did, and like the way the H sits in the front.
  9. All mb / mc wings are the same. I'd have thought that the bumper from any mb / mc would fit too, but the bumper is different? At least it would lack the lip.
  10. That's where all the decks have gone... They've flew south for their old age
  11. Looks good in that colour mate. Let's hope no dumbass drives into this one!
  12. I always am surprised about the difference that clear side repeaters make. The orange ones look really dated in comparison. Liking the light transformations you've been doing.
  13. Sad news mate. There are less and less Ms about. I didn't a single one at simply Japanese (not even mine cos we were in the wife's accord) When it comes down to it you have to do what you need to do though. Would be good if she could be saved from the scrap man though.
  14. Me and a few others over the years have got replacement distributors from ignitioncarparts.com... Mine was a refurbished one and it's still going strong more than 6 years later.
  15. Yeah, I'm upload to here all the way now. Just nice to not have to try and go back to fix all the broken pics from photobucket.
  16. Thread revival **stand clear** Photobucket no longer trying to get people to pay a ridiculous amount for image hosting and have binned the CEO who did it. Happy days for all those old build threads and how to's!
  17. Actually, just seen that photobucket have decided to stop being twats and have restored the free linking service! My old pics in my thread work again!
  18. Love the purple pop Off topic a bit... How come photobucket still works for you bud? Have you paid for the upgraded account? @ammarbm
  19. Looking sweet with the new roof @Dave I know that it's a bit of a trek, but there's an mx5 specialist just down the road from us http://www.akautomotive-mx5.co.uk/ Seen some tasty cars there when they're getting prepped for race weekends. They do loads of second hand parts etc as well.
