I'd say anything below 12v (outside of a reasonable range). Test it and see what it comes back with.

I was under the impression the V6 would be heavier too?

Could be a factor, I would say to look for voltage between 12-14 volts with the engine running and lights on.

Have you tested what voltage the lights are getting? Maybe there's a failing earth somewhere causing them to dim?

Probably better to have the same all round. Just the springs though, the 180 shocks should be fine.

Yeah can see Grant's point, costs about the same for his brand new one as it might do for a second hand plus refurbishing it. It's swings and roundabouts when it comes to putting your own 'kit' together.

Again, anything that isn't specific to the car will sit low at the back as the rear set up on the other Civic's are shorter.
