  1. Hi, I use Kaspersky Password Manager......works a treat for most Websites excepting this one. Is there any particular setting I should be looking at ?
  2. Hi, I was looking for a hub, and I found this one for a rover 200/400/600. It fits also a few mg models. This should fit our models too? Don't want a ebay version or a cheap one, so I was looking for a momo. https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/momo-steering-boss-for-rover-200-400-600-with-airbag-4928
  3. Hello All, I wanted to ask everyone on their view for aftermrket abs sensor. Im currently looking for a used abs sensor as its £225 from dealers which I will probably get if no used one comes by.
  4. Hi. Does anyone know the size of the bolt that holds the rear shocks to the trailing arm. Mine is stuck in on both sides so will have to angle grind the head off and drift it out. I want to get the replacement bolts before I start so I can do it all at once. Cheers
  5. Hello All, I have an MC1 1.6 vtec 125. Will an abs sensor for the rear right off a vti-s work with my car? Thanks
  6. Hello Everyone, I've got to change my O2 sensor for the exhaust manifold one. I don't really want to buy a £250 one from dealers. I've tried to look around and best I found was this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181503439204 NGK one (NGK0299) - OZA333-H26, Can someone tell me if this will suffice? Its for a Mc1 aerodeck 1.6 vtec 125 D16W4 engine. Some places I see 4 or 5 pin. 500m, 650mm, 350mm ,320mm. My car is a 1999 if that helps. I have tried the search but couldn't find a solid answer. Any more questions please fire them my way Many Thanks

  16. Been keeping one eye on eBay for a good while now. The Aerodeck has been good to me, but the 1.6, whilst nice to drive could offer a bit more. The perfect alternative would be the VTI. Cheap to buy. cheap to run. Simple enough to fix. But they don't seem to exist anywhere. The odd one pops up every few months, miles from home, but given the age, and the fact that few are any longer owned by the pensioners that once drove them, I'm reluctant to take a punt on travelling miles to get one. The thing is, I'm struggling for alternatives. Accord would be the obvious choice, and it's high on the list. But having started a new job and commuting 50 miles a day, mpg is an issue... Something that can at least hold 35mpg in the real world would be ideal. And old diesel Accords look to be fraught with issues (clutch, timing chain, dpf, etc). Some say the 2.4 petrol can return 35mpg........plenty of others seem to be getting no more than 25mpg in the 2.0.... I refuse to buy a Ford. Octavia vRS, maybe. But why oh why did they put half white leather seats in them. There's something tacky I find about the Skodas. One of the things I like about the Aerodeck is that it's understated. Even a bit agricultural. I like that. I need to find something. It's driving me nuts. I don't think I have a big list of requirements. Just something a little bit fun. Not too thirsty (30mpg is very borderline, and a lot of the big engine motors are gonna slip below that). And reliable. I don't give much of a toss what it looks like, or how cool it is. Agricultural is good! Oh, and the air con must work. Cup-holder would be bonus. Any ideas?
  17. Hello all, This is my aerodeck. It's completely standard with 170K on the klock. It's my second Honda . For this I was driving a civic ej9. Current ( OEM) mod list: - New OEM fog lights - New Oem mud flaps -New Window rubbers -Window deflectors -New oem rear wiper arm last week I bought a set vti -s wheels and headlight protectors. Rare items here in the Netherlands. The rims I will repair, and restore to their original condition. Also, I found a full leather VTI-S interior. I doubt still to buy this, Quite rare but also quite pricey
  18. I’m guilty of doing nothing to my deck for ages! So no surprise that it’s failed MOT on off side lower front ball joint. I just happened to notice a 1.6 Aerodeck in the local scrap yard. Rather than have my 1.8vti deck off the road for a day or so, while I struggle like hell to bash out/press out the lower ball joint, I plan to remove the whole hub assy off the 1.6 and put it on my 1.8vti. Anyone know if this would work, would the hub splines be the same on the 1.6 as the 1.8vti? The wheel bearing and joint look quite good on the scrap 1.6. Any help appreciated, as time and money are sparse at the mo!
  19. we did this once before here, as part of the MG ZS group buy of heated front screens. there is one last ever (I know I said the last time would be the last), and this really will be the last time as its not worth my time and hassle and I gain nothing from this...the last ever heated screen group buy the screens WILL come with a top tint, and are dual circuit heated. They are 25£ more than the last batch 5 years ago (inflation!) at £225+vat. its a real last minute thing coz I kinda forgot about you guys, but I have to place an order Monday 8th Feb and as before £100 deposit is required, non refundable as I would be stuck with the screen and I would still have to pay the balance, but if for any reason... find someone else to buy it, whatever, we just need to fulfil the order. Its done through Ricky Evans motorsport as before, they supply cars in the BTCC. They will not stock these screens, if they would I wouldn't have to go to all this hassle for nothing, so this really is the only way to get one, there will be none left over, what I order I have to pay for and you guys pay the same cost per screen as I do, we had to pay the tooling on the first batch, believe me, its no cheap process. Call me 07941 857777 or join teh dark side - MG ZS Owners club on facebook where there is a post, or prob better still, Jason simm on facebook, its the MGZS pic with the stelio pass in the background. Sorry its last minute, but I don't want to miss you guys out.
  20. I'm kicking this one off early as I won't be around much, voting should start on the 28th!
