  1. 2000 Honda Civic Vti 1.8 MB6 Vtec. Low miles. Silver. 58800 Genuine low miles. MOT certificates and Service history to verify mileage. Full Service History until 2014 when I purchased the vehicle. Serviced and maintained to a very high standard by myself and a local garage since then. Cambelt, Aux belts and water pump changed 11/3/15 at 54374 miles. 3 Former keepers, one of which was main dealer as this was a demonstrator. Air con in full working order, as are all the electrics. Vtec works perfectly. Excellent Condition interior. Bodywork blemishes are pictured but the vehicle is rust free and in very tidy condition. A very reluctant sale. Full Stainless Powerflow exhaust including new Catalytic converter and Tegiwa 4-2-1 Stainless manifold. AEM DryFlow induction kit. MG ZS 180 Anti Roll Bar and Drop links: Polybushed. New Foglights. Climair wind deflectors front and rear. New Pads/Discs all round. New rear calipers and refurbed front calipers. Braided Lines. Huge stack of receipts for service items over the last two years, the car has wanted for nothing. If you want to discuss exactly which parts have been fitted/filters/oil changed, please contact me directly as there is too much to list. Fresh MOT with no advisories. Any inspection welcome. Call/text 07981 472 506, or email ben183@hotmail.com with specific questions. Car is located in Worthing. NSF wheel has a dent which causes a slow puncture of the front tyre over a period of weeks: Full set of VTiS Fanblade alloys are included in the sale with Brand New OEM centrecaps and wheels nuts. I don’t have the means to get these refurbed and fitted anymore. Great condition and low miles, hence £2200. I would much rather sell to someone who knows what they are looking at and enjoys these cars, than go down the ebay route.

I really need those. At least the wing. Help!!
  6. When I first signed up here I mentioned I'd have an MB6 in a few months. It has now been a few months. It's a completely standard (for now!) Sicilian Red VTi with 90k on the clock. We've had it in the family for 8 years and I actually had the pleasure of learning to drive in it. Probably why I passed first time. I'm picking the car up from my parents' place on Saturday (which is when their insurance ends and mine starts) so for now here's a few pictures I took a while ago. Current mod list: - Audio -- Pioneer DEH-X5600BT headunit -- Vibe CBR10 EVO Active V2 box with Alpine SWR-10D2 subwoofer - Interior -- CREE LED interior and boot lights -- Domokun front seatbelt pads -- OEM cup holders -- Moman plasma dials -- eBay "Mugen" weighted gear knob -- Personal Neo Grinta 330mm steering wheel w/ eBay boss - Exterior -- Large OEM fog lights -- eBay 100W yellow fog light bulbs -- Horizon LEDs 35w 6000K HID kit -- LED sidelights and number plate lights -- Black surround headlights -- Clear side repeaters -- Mesh grill -- Totally JDM decals -- Dechrome -- "Honda" number plate surrounds -- Pressed number plates -- Team Heko wind deflectors -- VTiS front splitter -- VTiS side skirts -- VTiS rear lip -- JDM rear lights -- Pikachu tow hook charm -- Silvertec front indicator bulbs -- Jazz washer jets -- Debadge - Engine -- Resonator delete -- Powerflow 2" cat-back exhaust with Turborevs 3.5" back box -- Air con delete -- Tenzo-R cold air intake -- Magnecor KV85 ignition leads -- Skunk2 VTEC solenoid cover -- H-Tune P28 -- Dark Ice Designs bonnet gas struts - Chassis -- Japan Racing JR3 16x7JJ ET40 wheels -- 215/45R16 Falken Ziex ZE914 Ecorun tyres -- MeisterR Zeta S coilovers -- MG ZS 180 20mm rear anti-roll bar with SuperFlex poly bushes -- MTEC Grooved Black Edition brake discs -- Mintex brake pads -- Goodrich braided brake lines
  7. I would like to know if it will be possible to fit on the MB6 Hood and front bumper onto my MA8. I've noticed there are significantly more parts for the MB6, and then more there's the front lip that I think I wouldn't be able to put onto my MA8. I'm worries there might be conflict with the lights or other parts of the body. And that MB6 bumper is quite sexy. Pictured my white ma8, someone elses (who's probably here on civic5) mb6

    Interior Info thread...

I've been looking around for a little bit of information but the main info I've found is related to the MB6 VTI-S.. I have a 1.4 Sport MB (MB3 / MB8 depending on who you speak too!) it has Half leathers, AC, PAS, Leather stitched wheel (did until I yanked it out for a Vertex wheel), Electric Windows (front), Electric Mirrors (adjust & Heat), carbon-look trim around knob, grills etc, Leather stitched honda gear knob. Now apart from the MB6 which has 99% the same interior I have found, what other differences across the range have what? I know theres that wood/tortoise shell looking trim option too but wondered if there was anything exclusive to the VTIS/VTI/Sport? and I was lead to believe the VTIS was the only model in Pirated black, Theres a 1.6 VTEC MB round the corner in PB, doesn't have wing or anything like the trim, has stock fabric seats, no AC yet the colour is definitely black that flips into purple as PB does.. Ideas?
  12. i've heard MB6 has thicker front (26mm?) and rear (18mm?) swaybars than "normal" Civics. Where can i find bushings? I'm looking at Energy suspension ones (i prefer polyurethane if possible). Where should i buy them? I could'nt find 18mm rear from energy suspension which would be direct fit. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/16.5110 Can that fit rear for MB6? I'ts meant for front but tha size is correct. Is it possible to fit front sway bushes to rear? They shouldn't be that different, right? Both are D-shaped right?http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/16.5130 I found this for front. But the rear is questionable. And i should find those from European store to spare in customs and shipping costs... I need quick answers. I can find those part numbers from AKR perfomance (30e shipping costs)
  13. Hey! Has any of you heard or had any MAXGEAR wheel bearings? http://maxgear.pl/product-range-drive-o106.en.html I can get those for 30 Euros (rear axle) from webstore. Others are: Japanparts at 47 Euros. BTA 52 euros, OPTIMAL 78 Euros. SKF 75 euros (supposedly OEM quality). What wheel bearings should i get? Have any of you heard of any of those brands? How much would you pay for that part yourself?

    Desperate help!!!!

Hello all, Im really starting to lose love in my mb i have had it for a year and its been going good but a month ago something from the front end started whining. It only happens once you slightly press the accelerator or when you're maintaining speed, like holding at 30... Once i depress the clutch the noise disappears. I had my mainshaft bearings replaced and i have replaced the clutch and thrust bearing. Nothing had changed :/ The whine started when my brother missed a gear and obviously it high revved ( didnt hit limiter) Cheers!

    Gearbox setup for racing

Hi folks, just looking for some input for my gearbox set up to go in my track car. I have to leave the engine standard so want to make best use of the power avaliable. I'm looking for the shortest gearbox avaliable which I hear is a s80, 4.7 final drive with 4th and 5th from s4c. Think it has LSD aswell but not sure. Will also be fitting uprated clutch and lightened flywheel. Going to remove the power steering aswell to give me back the small amount of power it takes to run. Anyone know if there is a better gearbox I should be looking at and what I can do to improve it remembering it will be used for racing. Is there also anything else people can think of to get the most out of the engine and improve reliability? Thanks

    Mb4 automatic for sale £800

For sale is my mb4. Brilliant car but with a third baby on the way I've had to be all sensible and get a more practical vehicle with more seats. the civic has about 98k on the clock but is still being used. its mot'd til may or June I think it is. Pretty much a full year. just had the driveshaft replaced, it's also had brakes and suspension components done recently. black leather interior with CD player. Leather is immaculate! engine bay is also immaculate and it starts first time every time. exterior is a little worse off, nothing major, but there are some scratches and a little rust on the rear arches. also a mirror case and a fog have some damage but both fogs and mirrors do their job. 15in alloys were tatty and sprayed black. Look descent from a distance. Car at was bought and I'd planned on addressing all he wee niggles over time. Managed to get some stuff done but now it needs to go as I have a bigger vehicle and can't afford both. If if I could id definately not let this one go. Looking for £800 im in helensburgh. Think it's a private reg aswell. drop me a line!
  17. Hello all! After a long time thinking of what build i want to go with im leaning towards N/A but i have a couple of questions to ask:- 1. I have big fuel injectors, will i benefit from these on n/a? PS. running a b18c4 with 2.5" exhaust and whale p***s induction. Thanks!!

    Skymera's MB6 VTi

Hi all My Micra has had it's day so I picked up this Civic MB6. I know it's not your typical EK Civic but it's still got the B18C4. It's certainly quicker than the Micra. It wont set any speed records but it does shift pretty well. The Car It has 89,000 miles, a bunch of paperwork and MOT till end of August. The car has had some track use before, the guy was on RetroRides It's pretty much standard, it has a set of 35mm lowering springs and a stainless steel (silent) rear can. Plans - I'm having the window tints done pay day, I don't like being in a goldfish bowl. - I've bought some G3 rubbing compound to remove the cloudiness on the headlights. - Some BC coilovers, expensive but worth it. - New brake pads. Preferably GreenStuff. It has OMP pads at the moment and they don't feel the best. Stay tuned!

    Looking to buy an MB6

Hello fellow MB lovers. I have been proudly owning an MB3 as my first car, though it was cheap and in bad condition it was making me happy, always. So from now on, as I am older (and richer ) I want to move a bit higher and purchase an MB6. I´ve been looking for one since December but I couldn't manage find a nice one, seems like they are getting pretty rare these days. So after trying in local Honda club, and communicating with some internet seller, who are not even interested to respond me, I come here to lay my last and desperate request. So If there is anyone selling this precious gem or you just know about a good one somewhere let me please know. Noting that I am from Czech Republic so I would be looking for a seller in my reach. Also sorry for some spelling and other mistakes hopefully its all understandable though. Looking forward to replies.

Hello all, I have came across a weird whine coming from the gearbox side of things. The whine is like when you try to accelerate in reverse but it only happens when im up at say 30+ and i slightly press the accelerator pedal like im trying to maintain speed. it usually gets worse the faster i go but as soon as i let go of the throttle it stops? Any ideas? Cheers!

    Rear window rubber!

I had my car resprayed in December and the paint is peeling on the boot lid around the rear window rubber, the sprayer said it's because I never removed the rubber! My question is can you even take it off? I never did so because I couldent see how it comes off or if it even does? Cheers
