  1. Car's looking sweet buddy. Nice little set of mods. As @Dave says, I'm sure that the strips on the doors just prise off (carefully), but it's a long time since I did it. Might be worth applying a bit of heat to stop the plastic being too brittle? (thinking more hair dryer rather than heat gun) not sure if it'd make any difference as those clips will be pretty old. @Chandler might know?
  2. Hi mate. I do love a white m! Looks tip top. Nice dyno figures you've got as well, I bet that's good with the integra gear box.
  3. Hard to say as I went from no arb to the MG one, but I'd say that any arb is better than none. I'm sure that @noodels went for the mb6 one on his deck at first?
  4. It's a rubbish time off year isn't it... Being dark before even leaving work does nothing for motivation
  5. That's nuts! Need to get a thread going on it mate - get one on future classics?
  6. Cheers Ali, aye, the standard wheel's bit like a bus wheel isn't it. That one you had on your vti always looked good to use on your vids. Have you still got the beemer?
  7. Wow, been a while since I updated this. Not much to report really apart from finally getting a steering wheel upgrade. Nice momo competition wheel with a honda horn button. Feels so much better, nice and chunky in the hand () and so much more direct and accurate feel to the steering. I pretty much gave up on looking for a reasonably priced itr momo one with an airbag... They're going for crazy money these days. Happy with this though, and have sorted it the SRS error since this pic
  8. Yep.. Feels like a perfect match for my go kart estate
  9. Sure is.. Lovely Thought it would make the steering harder, but it isn't noticeable. The old wheel weighs a ton!
  10. Well, wheel's on. Need to fit the resistor for the air bag, and as naz's guide I need a brass strap to get the power to the brass ring on the boss. Love it, feels tip top
  11. It's a Momo competition. Looking forward to getting it fitted. I had a Peugeot 309 briefly that had a nice momo wheel on, but the car got scrapped and I never thought to take the wheel off. Dunno.. Think I'm going to have to just get stuck in and see what happens.
  12. Love that you call it a cigar lighter instead of cigarette How the other half live
  13. Hello all. I'm looking for a bit of help. I've just bought a bargain momo wheel, which after a wee bit of TLC it's looking much better. Problem is, I don't get how the horn connects up. All of the how to guides (including @10000rpm fine one on here) and videos seem to show 2 wires from the horn... This one only has 1 which is wired to a brass ring on the boss. So in the horn part, there's a brass spring which looks like it could turn the body of the wheel / boss into the ground / close the circuit when the button is pressed, but I'm not sure how this connects up to the OEM connections. Anyone have any clues?
  14. Just to add... I wouldn't go using the red key unless you completely understand what is going to happen first... It can have serious consequences I think.
  15. Hi bud, hope everything's okay. There's a bit in the service manual about it.. Looks like you need to use the red key, but it doesn't describe the procedure. Unless someone else knows, bit more searching is needed about using the red key?
  16. Bet you're glad to get that one out the way. They're so much more important now than when the main reason for them was for smoking (where has the smoking smiley gone?...)
  17. Camber arms look nice and tidy mate. Think I'm in need of some new Bush action.. Let us know how the poly ones feel... I've never convinced myself that they won't be too firm / crash.
  18. Wheels look good mate.. Proper job Look forward to seeing them back on the car
