Has anyone here bought new aftermarket front fenders for their MB6? Or just got used ones from scrap yard etc. ? I was wondering if the aftermarket ones fits directly or if there are any seam gaps, if the headlight and bonnet fit to it properly etc. Things that can go wrong. Diederichs makes them but couldn't find those. I got myself Polcar ones. https://catalog.polcar.com/#!KatKatalogGlowny/fender-front-381102/492184 Should i try fitting them first before getting them painted at a shop? I was thinking of putting them on later in spring. But could get them painted already. Any bodypanel/exterior info would be welcome in this forum. Considering aftermarket parts especially.

Hi I'm just wondering if anybody here has experience with fitting the OEM/standard Mb's spoiler onto one that originally didn't have one? Mb2/4 etc Got a spoiler with brake light wiring all complete etc and I'm wondering how to go about it or to bother at all. - Any tips for drilling screw holes in the boot lid for the spoiler? This is what's making me not want to do it to be honest. Scared I'll mess it up. Need the bolts too. - Is there anywhere for the brake light wiring to plug into on the MB2's? I've taken the boot interior out and looked and can't see where it would go to. Any tips/pictures etc would help too. Thanks!

I've spotted some neon style Honda emblems, and they look awesome! However, I have an MB4 and don't know if it's different for others, but my front badge is different to the back. Who thinks I could get away with fitting this to the front and it look okay or would it look weird? Want a red one for the back to come on with sidelights, and white at the front as a DRL.

Hi everyone does anyone know if the side repeaters on the front wings of the civic have to be there as i want to blank mine off. I know after a little bit of research the indicator light cluster has to wrap around the side and be visable which i think it is but would like someone elses opinion Thanks Ben

The boot rubber seal is in the right place and pushed down as much as it can the rubber adjusters on either side of the boot and as small as they can be but yet it stil doesnt latch. The only time it will latch on is when I slam it very hard which i dont want to keep doing. Also the boot release by the drivers footwell doesnt release it either only the key releases it once it has been slammed shut. Thanks for any help Ben

Will they stuck out from fenders/arches? They are already rolled and pulled by previous owner. I don't wan't any camber adjustments. Bad for tires, wallet and winter conditions. Previous owner had Japan Racing JR3 wheels with et 20-22 in the back (17x9). Sure they stuck out lil bit but it was okay with stretched tires. I'm looking at these: http://www.nlmotoring.com/Avid-1-AV-12-Wheels-16x8-Gold-p/av121680ma25gd.htm 16x8 Offset [+25mm] (I would pick 15's but can't find those locally with 114 and et25 fitment). I wonder if such "deep dish" wheels fit MB6 without camber adjustments? I mean ET 25 should be manageable if those JR3's fitted, right? But does wheel design affect how much it actually comes outwards? I've seen some EK and EG Civics with those wheels and they struggle i guess. Looks good on those but MB6 have stock ET of 55 vs. other Civics 40-45. Fenders and arches are pulled out as much as they can i'd say. Does anyone here have experience on fitting similar style wheels on MB6 without camber adjustments? Does pulled fenders and mild stretched tires solve it? Another problem i fear is caliper clearance in the front... Bigger calipers than stock Civics. If it needs spacers bigger than 3mm. i think it's a "no go" then. Assuming they would fit, what tire profile would be the best? I have now stock 15's and lowered car pretty much in the same level as wheels (stanced/slammed some would possibly say ).

Hello everyone, I'm restoring an MB2 and I was wondering if the complete airco system is interchangeable with other Civic models? Mine originally had airconditioning, but the previous owner decided to remove everything.. I have a pump and condesor lying around from my EJ6 (D16Y7) but I don't have the hoses/lines anymore that need to be mounted in the engine bay. Can someone help me? Thanks

I'm in the process of finding some alloys for the MB, I'm looking at the following wheels, I'm looking at 15x9 ET-0 (and I know that "ET0 won't fit") but I have plans to remedy that.. The next stage is to choose White, Black or Silver as the chosen colour.. I did a little bit of photoshopping RPF1's onto a black VTI I found on Google, The RPF1 is a great looking wheel but not wide enough for my plans. The toss up now is between Rota Kyusha, J-MAG, Alecia or Ultralite UL48/Traklite Holeshot's at the moment. The Ultralites are my current forerunning wheel but a bit of input and fresh opinion might be cool!

I have a bit of rust on arches, could someone give me an idea of cost involved in getting rid of it in a way where it looks like it was never there? also, is this the kind of thing a local garage would do or would I need a bodywork specialist or what? cheers

Hello. First things first, my front windscreen has a great big crack on the left hand side. starts at the edge of where the tax disc would normally be and then goes up to about halfway up the windscreen. And with lots of little scratches here and there actually getting the whole lot replaced would be a nice thing. Not sure if it can be fixed anyways... And the rear windscreen... My car came with the ugly windscreen brake light (black box thing) which I want to remove, especially since it also came with the little spoiler with brake light. Unfortunately, two big holes were made/drilled to fit the brake box thing so can't fully remove it. I've taken it off but it's left two big black circle things which are fugly. So... How much would I be looking at to replace both windscreens, easy enough to do yourself or let the pro's do it? Or would I be better off trying to find a boot+windscreen for my civic in the correct colour? And do you think the crack could actually be replaced, but then what about all those scratches everywhere which actually cause quite a bit of glare in sunlight/heavy rain... Pirates black mb3...

Before I start taking bits off, does anyone know if this broken edge can be replaced by itself or if I need a whole wing mirror? cheers

Hey ho. As some people might already know i ran over a badger. So now I need to replace my front bumper, but where can i find one? It shouldhave a "Materialgutachten" (a certificate which we need here in Germany to be able to put bodykits on our cars). I'm searching for weeks but I can't find anything, only lips or stuff for show-cars. Thanks!

Hey guys, Bought a Honda Civic 1.6 LS, off for vehicle inspection & MOT today, wish it luck lol the guy who sold it to me didn't bother driving it for a few months & left it to rot on his driveway. He planned on using it for track racing, but had other priorities. Was a gamble & is it hard to find exterior parts, but thanks to this forum I've found a few! I will take some pictures in the upcoming weeks ahead.
