Obviously the timing belt end has two seals aswell. But yeah the gearbox side just has one seal on exhaust cam and a o ring on Dizzy.

Yeah pretty straight forward. The distributor seal is literally an o ring. Remove dizzy change and replace.

Could you not find a cheap socketed ecu and actually get the car tuned properly for that? Garage 786 used to charge 180 quid to the on the dyno. Guess it's easy no injector timings and map sensor calibration to do.

Sounds interesting. Definately worth a shot. See how it feels.

It is. But only if you combine with other bits like cams exhaust etc. Otherwise your spending all that dow just for few horsepower. Will want a tune aswell. Else you'l end up with a flat spot midrange

Looking good as always. Like the use of the pan connector. Good idea that. Shame they dont come in black but function over form.

You can get replacement panels from rimmerbros but a decent body shop should be able to cut that out and repair with bits and bobs plate it up. As mentioned above like the sill has holes being the skirt aswell if it's like that.

Ordered one so good.

Good result mate. Yeah wouldn't push to hard on it. I have a mate who had ring land failure at a similar power. Trashed the block. Wow that place looks awesome.
-
Cheers mate

Pretty pumped now. Got all the gadgets going In. Electronic boost controller and 3 port solenoid has turned up. So will have a faster spool and more power again soon. Am waiting for my injectors to come back from ultrasonic cleaning tho. In a bid to stop hunting idle. The hunting has virtually disappeared with an overly rich idle. So suspected that one injector is leaning out and more fuel has brought it up to an acceptable level.

Good times mate. Cams will make a good difference. You'll be loving it.

Rears are apparently pain by the way. New speakers need to be shallow In order to fit

Rears are 4" I think. Fronts you can run 6.5". Use speaker adapters for a old Vauxhall astra in the front. Can get from eBay or halfords. Just have to drill an additional hole to screw them in. Door cards are easy enough. Undo screw in door opener. Slide lever out. There's a little green tab that includes and you can remove the handle completely. Remove 2 screws from the door pull handle. And a black plastic screw from under the door mirror. Then you just squeeze your hand under the door card and give it a good tug. Popping all the Clips out. Pull the whole thing out then uowards and it will come away. Unplug window switches. Sorted.

That's what I'm not sure about. Some diff have that bearing. Others have taper needle bearing. Sure the box case is the same throughout versions. Google suggests that s9b LSD is the same LSD used in the s80 boxes etc. So quite possible the bearings are the same fitment then.

Thats a nice wrap actually.

Not looked here for ages. Really nice man. Like it!

True true. Suprised it doesn't get done much. Yanks are mad for a j swap.
-
Like it jay.. good s**t!!! Starting to think that engine belongs in your deck tho. That would be awwweeesome
-
That pin can be a pain Yeah. I usean Allen key just the right size and smack it through with hammer
-
I undo bottom arm. It's awkward to make the space tho with the shaft still in the hub. Would be easiest to remove the whole knuckle. Or the shaft out completely.

You should just replace with standard injectors. They are a naturally ticky injector though. If you were to change for a larger cc you would require a socketed ecu and a tune to amend the injector timing and fueling. Unless of course modifying for lot more power i.e turbo or supercharger not worth it.
