  1. Be sure to use WD40 because the two big screws securing the console to the floor are absolute pigs to remove.....I put massive torque on 'em but they only unscrewed a little and got tighter as I went....gave it up as a bad job until I can use WD40 underneath the car.
  2. Gel

    Jobs....

I'm retired now but used to work as a white appliance service engineer.
  3. Excellent price for a Denso ..... NGK, NTK and Cambiare seem to work without issue but Denso is top monkey.
  4. You could also consider the 2nd hand route : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Civic-MB6-1-8VTi-Heated-Oxygen-Sensor-B18C4-P9K-36531-P9K-E01-1997-2000-/141745027989
  5. I'd be inclined to clean the throttle body and butterfly before spending big money on a Lambda.
  6. Tis a great feeling when you can mend your car without open wallet surgery
  7. I too would recommend you trickle charge the battery asap. Giving the car a good long run isn't advised ....... you could end up cooking the battery because of the massive input from a healthy alternator. Fingers crossed your newish battery recovers
  8. A "G" meter wouldn't go amiss Very wise of you fitting the sump baffles. More power to your excellent work
  9. It's always been silver wheels for me but I gotta admit those coloured wheels look brilliant against the dark coachwork.
  10. Awesome looking machine :)......more power to you Jake.
  11. If your fuel consumption doesn't improve after all the checks and maintenance suggested ......your best to change the HT leads, distributor cap and rotor........last but not least would be to replace your oxygen sensor. Be sure to reset your ECU once you fit the service parts. Good luck
  12. Hi, I use Kaspersky Password Manager......works a treat for most Websites excepting this one. Is there any particular setting I should be looking at ?
