  1. Browsing ebay and found this. Looks amazing condition with only 18.000 miles on the clock, two owners from new. Very hard to find one like this, but don't think I could justify.........£6495 for an MB6! Still, would love to own this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Civic-1-8-VTI-Very-Low-Mileage-ONLY-18K-Service-History-Lot-of-paperwork/233074530457?hash=item3644531899:g:VQUAAOSwTY9buQTO:rk:4:pf:0 Pic of the car
  2. Hi all, i have recently purchased a mb2 civic that comes with a D14A8, the car has done 180k miles and i was looking to change the engine for one with less miles a bit more tuning potential. Is a d15b7 a straight swap ? I'm aware that the mounts ect are the same it was mostly the wiring side of things. Can i use my existing dizzy or will it need to be changed ? thanks in advance
  3. I bought a fabia vrs to use along side the aerodeck and it was great unroll it kept breaking, I treated like a van I've still got it I just need to fix it.. again! then get it sold. So the replacment... I found this on eBay and it wasn't to far away. It's got a couple of things to sort out but other than that I'm really happy with it. The guy I bought it from had it for 4/5 years but the guy he bought it from put the jdm wind deflectors, recaro seats and tegiwa intake on. Sounds insane in vtec!
  4. Hi new to the forum, picked up this mb6 totally standard apart from coilover a month ago and since then I've added an omp wheel and quick release, new carpets, added an aem induction kit, aluminium rad and red coolant hoses, decat, custom spark plug cover, bonnet raisers and few wee tidy up bits, I've owned a few hondas before this, had am ej6 civic coupe with a b18c4 conversion and also owned an accord type r, but its quite a clean mb6 so don't want to do to much to it or anything done it can be put back, but interested in probably one of the most asked questions of making the custom projector headlights? And looking a nice set of alloys, recommendations? Thanks
  5. Hi everyone. is anyone running 16s on there civic if so could you please post a picture? what is the fitment like also? lastly has anyone done a 5 stud conversion on a civic if so whats needed and from what car? Thanks Ben
  6. So here's my little new MB3 on its summer wheels that normally were on my ED9. Need to lower it though, 215/40 R16 are looking very tiny. Bought it for 500€ last June with 192.000km and a nearly broken transmission. Luckily a used but functional one and 8 wheels (OEM alloys and some steels) were in the back so i just had to replace the gearbox and also put a brand new clutch in it for 450€ total in a honda workshop. It's now at 206.000km and it's still going without any problems. Looks like i made a good deal for under 1000€. Also it's in lovely Pirates Black and has this nice little wing, gorgeous!
  7. I've spotted some neon style Honda emblems, and they look awesome! However, I have an MB4 and don't know if it's different for others, but my front badge is different to the back. Who thinks I could get away with fitting this to the front and it look okay or would it look weird? Want a red one for the back to come on with sidelights, and white at the front as a DRL.
  8. MB3 for sale in Rochdale. Fancy it but too much travel hassle for me but maybe someone else on here would be interested.
  9. Love the look of this fella http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263054916625 Never seen one before
  10. well I'm new to the whole aerodeck club really, but I've always know about them and had a soft spot for them and now I've got myself one! I've managed to get myself a rust free vti aerodeck with loads of history and less than 100k on the clocks.. just lol. the engine and box are great very smooth and quite and the aircon even works! there's a knocking on the suspension/steering somewhere, I think its a track rod so those will be changes this weekend. the rear brakes were past it so it's had new disks and pads on the rear. But I'm pretty sure the rear sliders are sticking so that's another job to check over. the sunroof needs a new seal it doesn't let water in but the noise on the motorway! the drivers window also need looking at. it's as if its sitting lower on one end and when you put the window up it drags in the window seal. then it just needs a parcel shelf, a new horn, rear bumper and boot lid could do with some tlc or swapping and the drivers wing could do with being changed if the dent can't be pulled out. not to bad for an bus right? now for the goodies! I've bought a few little bits for it first of all was a vtis kit front and rear skirts and side skirts then I found a mid spoiler on eBay pretty cheep so I bought that right away! the kit does need painting so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get that done. I managed to get a set of genuine floor mats for free and they're pretty mint. Today I've had a new set of wheels delivered in the form of 16x7 rota fighters with brand new yoko tyres. can't wait to see them on! the next step now is coilovers which I'm thinking about ordering after payday. exciting times! I'll leave it there for now. I'll try get some pictures up over the weekend. Dan

  13. To all members! happy new year! Can't wait to get out to some meets and Mimms this year
  14. Hi all. Just wondered if there are any people from here planning on going to the 2017 Mimms honda show? Supposedly some track time as peer the FB page but I can't find anything on the show Web site. Cheers, Dave
  15. Hello there guys and girls, my name Is Mark Gompertz and I am sort of new to the Honda scene. I've just found this forum so thought I'd introduce myself and make a thread to upload progress pictures up! So to start off.. I picked up this little big beauty from a car auction site (copart) for a fair price! Intentionally bought it to take its running gear out and put in my old micra! () But as soon as I sat in and started playing with its little gadgets like the air con, light dimmer switch, electric Windows and electric sunroof, half leather interior, seeing how much boot space there was! And then I drove it.. It was such a smooth, responsive car that handled amazingly with that LSD differential, and then you put your foot down and stuff happens! The b18c4 engine ran like it had just left the factory even being on 138,000 miles. I fell in love with it that day. (The light dimmer switch was what won me over...) The previous owner had put on a private plate and left it still assigned to the car V37 NAM which looks a bit like Vietnam which is where the the name has came from! I've had a few people mention it to me in the street like "hey it says Vietnam haha!" It's comical and brightens my day ! Lol Back to the present! 7 months and 10,000 miles have passed by and I have fiddled with a few things modification wise.. I've put bucket seats and a harness in (ran out of gas to weld brackets for the passenger harness) I've ghetto lowered it, but will buy some coilovers when I get the funds! some mega wide 16" junk dregs on with a little amount of stretch on the back, I've put rear camber bolts in to make the rear wheels legal, running something like 4-5 deg of camber ive put on vtis front and rear bumpers and side skirts as my standard bumpers were a bit battered and fogs were bus and they had the lips still on ive stripped out the interior from the back seats to the boot ive cut out slots in the bumper do reduce all that drag added a HONDA sunstrip which is mega race car HID's team heko wind deflectors red cam cover purply pink led sidelights bumper ties rear tie bar and tow hook engine wise I've put a skunk2 pro inlet manifold on, s2000 air filter, Magnacore HT leads, new OEM Honda stem seals and other various stem seals when I put a new head gasket on i got a hole of a ram horn exhaust manifold from a friend of mine that was on his b18 CR-X! my initial plan was to make a full front to back system, but.. I'm not a very subtle type of person so as you can see from the pictures I went for a bumper exit! 4-1 to a stainless 9 degree 3" bend and a 3" straight pipe to the bumper, it sounds pretty mega up the revs and pulled a lot better than when I had the standard system onł Took her to Japshow 2016 on the Micra Sports Club stand Monster truck mode enabled! At my local track on Anglesey, Trac Mon. And then I finally got round to lowering it! Also put in HID's in and took the roof bars off Sunstrip and sticker from when I went on Anglesey track! Red cam cover, s2000 filter and skunk 2 pro inlet manifold, bit of a mess but it looks a lot more tidy now I got rid of the unnessasary hoses and the IAB canister and cabon canister i picked up this exhaust manifold from a friend, had a crack in port no.4 that needed welding up which I got my dad to do as he is amazing at fiddly welding jobs and always manages to make it look neat What the system looks like in full here it is on the car! Pretty much all visable when you take the bumper off which is easy with the bumper ties As you'd expect it is quite loud.. I will be putting a silencer in the middle of the pipe from just after the bend to just before the inside of the bumper soon but it's not my main priority at the moment it pops when you tickle the throttle on overdrive at 2k revs which is fun, and sounds like a racing bike at around 6-8k Ive ordered some exhaust Spring hooks so that the collectors are tight together as I have a slight blow coming from the join, and will put some exhaust paste around to seal In the past couple days I have spaced up the bonnet 20mm and put in purpely pink led sidelights which are pretty And to bring this massive introduction of myself and Vietnam to a close (until I post up here next, the most recent mod I have done is swap over the faces from a set of integra clocks I acquired off eBay for a bargain price, and stuck them to my OEM dials, and pt in the yellow needles, still need to do the temp and fuel gauges and change the colour of the illumination lights but once it's all done it'll be great! I hope you enjoy my pretty much DIY/ghetto build, I'll be uploading pictures and some videos from now on, some of you may already know me and I already know a couple but it's nice to meet you all and fingers crossed I meet you guys at some meets /shows! Peace! -Mark

    My eg hatch

Hi guys, swapped the eg coupe I had with a mate of mine. Always wanted a hatch and his was a very clean example with some nice minor mods. It's a lsi model so it's only a 1.5. I still have my rebuilt b18c4 but need to source a p28 ecu, vti dash loom, gearbox shafts and linkage to complete the swap. The car came with some bandedsteels that is made. Iv since swapped them for some rota slips, removed some stickers and fitted a standard back box.

  19. Hi Guys, I'm back! This might not be a very busy thread but here is my new love. I haven't had a chance to give her a real clean up so here's a sneaky pic. (more rto come) being an '07' she's one of the first built, #818. But with only 61k miles on the clock she's a young'un in my eyes.
