Hi guys, so my Mb2 is going to be turning 20 very soon this year So one of the jobs I’m wanting to do is replacing all major bushings etc. I’ve just never done this before and have no idea what bushes are on the car, front suspension and back. Also where can I get all the right parts and how much is it going to cost approximately? Trailing arm bushes badly need doing, also sure I’ve heard the front anti roll bar knocking, rear LCA bushes could do with replacing as well. Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated!

Can anyone recommend somewhere to have a roll Cage installed. I know a few people on here building track cars have had cages installed so where did you get it done and how much did it cost? I want it to be MSA and FIA approved so it can be used for racing. I have contacted Safety Devices for a quote and their FIA approved cage is coming in at 3k for supply and fitting which seems a bit steep to me. Any advice on places and how much it cost them would be much appreciated, especially from anyone in the motorsport community.

Hi guys kinda of a odd first question. for the people who have split there head lights to either paint the inside black or to do projector conversion, could someone tell me the dimensions of the internal head light bucket mainly width and hight. also look to put a spoiler on my mb as the ducktail didn't work out what goes well on them? Hi all. Don't know if anyone here might be able to help me out. Iv got a set of the older meisterR zeta s coilovers on my vtis. They have been on about 5 years now and recently the drivers side rear has started leaking oil, about a drip a week. I contacted meisterR and they don't rebuild the older ones and said I just need to buy new set. I'd like to avoid this for as long as I can so was wondering if anyone has an old set laying around that I could get hold of. Hopefully someone will be like me and have an odd set cos ones damaged or even a whole set going cheap. Thanks

jan 2020. Got a bit of time so thaught I'd start another project thread document my progress with my latest honda. My last civic ended up quite a machine. But unfortunately I had to make the decision to let it go to buy a house. Once got my finances back on track. I really fancied another mb6 as always had a soft spot for them. A another member offered me a clean car so went on a bit of a road trip down south to pick it up. It has just had an engine rebuild fully documented with every receipt and ran sweet as a nut was very happy with it. Unfortunately it only made it 100 miles back towards the Midlands and the bottom end developed a knock. Was pretty p**sed off tbh. But what can I do.

What pressies did your modern classic get for Christmas? Let's see them here! Mindy my MK1 MX5 got nice stainless steel will covers courtesy of my wife Gayle.  Carly Cooper (my gen 2 MINI) got two new rear brake calipers, pads and sensors (cos the brakes went on Christmas Eve!) Will add a pic of those later.  DD my Honda Civic Aerodeck got a promise from me to renew her front caliper and get her mot, plus possibly some paintwork in the spring/summer.

Hi, I'm looking for some switchback LED bulbs to light up the headlight corners of my MB9, does anyone know a good kit? Preferably a kit with resistors and everything in it, just plug and play. I believe the turnsignal bulbs are T10's, Does anyone have a specific bulb or kit that they recommend?

A= No. The MA civic 5 doors have the grill built into the front bumper. A= Honda recommend Castrol 10w40, however any make will be fine. You can also use 5w40 if you want to, but its a bit thinner. Q= How much oil does my engine take? Has anyone hered turboed their MB6 and can advise me what is best way to go about this. I've been told to stay away from ebay £500turbo kit but don't fancy paying £2.5k from H Tune. I have collected a few bits so far, tubular manifold, braided rocker cover, oil catch can, aem fuel rail and pressure regulator, walbro 255 pump, p28 ecu, I know what bits I need but debating what turbo is good for atleast 350bhp and would you recommend running it stock engine or forge as don't want this to also end up as my brothers 350bhp scooby which blew up. Correct me Im wrong but do I just stick the turbo kit on B18C4 as most people tell me the engine is set up for turbo kit from factory? Also recommend me decent tuning places?

Hi everyone long time no see. Back again after a few life issues but that story is for another day. I went to start my civic the other day, having been parked up for a few months and it wouldn't start not even turn over. wasn't the battery and saw the green key flashing on the dash. found out the immobiliser chip in the key had been lost so I odered a blank chip to be programmed. is there any other way of getting round the issue or can I program the myself with a sequence like on some cars? any help much appreciated

Thought you guys on here would like to see my MB6. Been putting it together for about the last year or so. Started off standard for a couple of weeks, then turbo'd at about 320bhp. Now fully built and running 500 at the wheels or about 570bhp fly. Think that makes it the most powerful in the UK.

Hi all, new to the forum from the north of Scotland. Had three of civics in the past but this is my new daily. It is a 1 owner, full Honda service history, 33k on the clock and a 1.4 auto. Perfect daily. Plan is is to make it a simple clean daily, alloys, coil overs etc.

So, going for full MTEC brake change and fitting some HEL braided lines at the same time. Just gone to take the first front brake hose off. All gone smoothly, drained hose, all disconnected, removed the sliding metal clip for the top fixing where the hose connects to the brake line. AAAnnnndddd.......... What the chuff is still holding this onto the bracket? Ive unscrewed the brake line nut, removed clip on top, can't anything else that should come off or move, is it just the power of 20 years worth of corrosion holding it on? should it pull down through the little bracket? or it it part of the bracket?

Hi everyone! I want to change all rear lights (blinker,reverse,brake, fog) to LED bulbs and also do the jdm style lights. What LEDs would fit best? if you have any night pics with LEDs post here! And for jdm tail light conversion, i would have to get other fog light loom or i just need the bulb holder? Thank you! (sorry for my English )

Hello, friends. Was changing engine oil on my Civic MB3 the other day and noticed the pipe between the air filter and the engine has a little hole. The car is fine to drive and never had problems with it but I don't like that thing over there. It's the tube of number 6. All the sites where they sell this tube have it discontinued so I guess I won't find it to buy, and even If i could it seems expensive. So is there a way to seal that hole? Or should I try to find one at a scrapyard? Thanks.
